Cool deal, wayno. Thanks again!!

The Hold Tight London lyrics are nice, real nice! It's good to have things spelled out for me!

Now if only they'd printed the lyrics to Close Your Eyes, too - it would be 100% complete. I wonder why they were left out?

I somehow would rather have myself figure chem lyrics. It's always a fantastic experience crackin all the vocal samples and lyrics and stuff without havin them spelt out for you. It's part of the whole Chems experience.

Well, my experience in deciphering lyrics and samples with any band... I'm OK with it but I have stood corrected more than my fair share of times. ;)

I see what you mean, though. It does leave some mystery to the tunes if you try and figure it out what's being said for yourself.

Going back a few years - It would be nice to know what Tim Burgess is really singing in Life Is Sweet. There's variations on the lyrics, but nobody's come out and said what's really what.

I know. But it's fun when u been thinkin somethin means somethin for ages, and then it hits u bang in the middle of your eyes one day out of nothing that that something's always been something else! It's almost like Buddha under that tree.. and the whole enlightenment thingy.. only with the Chems u get it many times in your life. Similarly with Fatboy samples.. they'r wicked once they fall into place!

And is that 'Jacket' on Life Is Sweet..? I've always heard Jacket.. doesn't make sense but sounds too fuckin cool.

Galvanize's lyric is somehow how I feel right now.

My gf just dropped me after 3 years as friends and 5 years as a couple, and sometimes I wake up wanting to do things, but I don't know why I don't do them.

Now I've started doing them, like riding my bike again, not trying to stay home alone and instead going out with friends or just alone.

Isn't it strange how it only takes a second to make a wound but it takes forever to heal? The pain of heartache truly does hurt like no other.

Yeap, it's a real pitty because I liked her a lot, I loved her a lot, but as I told her, now she isn't as she used to be, she's a whole new person.

I'm getting over it, of course I was very sad and I'm not 100% ok, sometimes I have some down times, but I'll try to keep up, and cheer up because life continues. ;)

Yes whirlygirl, it just takes a second to "kill" somebody inside, and yes, it takes time, but what makes it easier in my case is that now she's a totally new girl, she wasn't this way she's now, not even when we just met and became friends.

It hurts like hell.

"Cos you woke up in the morning, with the initiative to move, so why make it harder."

This is what I feel sometimes, I wake up, wanting to do something but sometimes I'm depressed (now just few times) and don't feel like doing them, and the song is right, "why make it harder?", don't get any deeper into the hole, cheer up!

"And you shouldn't even care about the losers in the air and their crooked stares."

Some people are enjoying what happened, not only because of me, but because she's now free and they might want to get her. I don't care, she can do whatever she want, I don't really care right now.

Only thing I would like about that lyric is going to a party with this kind of music with a bunch of friends or to know new people, like the ones in this forum. ;)

Unfortunately, there's no place to go here that plays this kind of music, it's all trance, dance, tecnho, that's the only electornica here. :?

I'm desperate, wanting to go to UK.

Does anybody want to adopt a 24 year old boy? :P X-D

Hey Skylined,

I had the same thing about a month ago. My girlfriend of over 2.5 years broke up with me. I thought we'd get married, we'd said it after 6 months, and I believed it. The relationship had got weird towards the end, frankly it's better off dead. Wow, euthanasia has a place! It's taken a month to admit that it's over, it gets easier, but I went through exactly what you have, with the ups & downs. Most of the downs come when you're alone, so hang out with mates as much as possible. It's cool you're philosophical about it though, my girlfriend is still the same - working all hours (60 per week) coz she "needs the money". Reality check dear, it's only coz you spend it on crap. Yeah, I'm better off now, and even if she asked I wouldn't wanna go back to it. Not doing that to myself again.

Word of advice: DON'T listen to Radiohead - Creep. You'll cry your eyes out.

The year is young and we're still young. :)

I accept that hug, but can you please adopt me? :P

Oh, and can I also call you mama? :P X-D

I'm just joking. ;)

I've already taken a look at several "student exchange" and other things, trying to go to UK before all these groups go under ground, not underground.

Awww!

I'd adopt you, but who wants to live in the U.S. when England has all the best music?!

I say, go and study in the UK. I did that for 3 months, way back when I was old enough to know better and too young to care. :P It was a fantastic experience both scholastically and socially and I learned a lot about other people and myself. It was very different from what I was used to and it opened my eyes to a lot of things. Being an exchange student... you're not a tourist, not a citizen - but you enjoy the fruits of both worlds. It's great fun!

I have...a correction to those lyrics? It seems ridiculous, since those lyrics were printed in a Chems release, but it may be an error on the part of whoever did the Japanese booklet.

In the first verse, the lyric after "And you shouldn't even care" sounds for all the world in the recording like it's "about those noses in the air", not "losers in the air"?which doesn't really even make any sense.

Flame on.

Oish, there's more.

You think it is time

you get up fresh style

like a sit up

sounds like

You think it's time

you get up crunch time

like a sit up

I always heard it as "crunch time like a situp" and thought it was a witty piece of writing.
