Better be Beth!!! They always do some really good tracks with her. If i had to choose another I'd say... hm shit, I don't know maybe another one with Hope (something a little more energetic than AFD )

Madonna wouldn't be too terrible, but... it would just be so... I don't know. I'm not really up for it, there's other women out there that have better voices. I really like that they work with Beth Orton. She's got a lilting, breathy quality to her voice but it's strong at points too, you wouldn't normally associate a breathy voice with the Chemicals but it just works so well when she sings on their tracks.

Hope Sandoval is the one who sang Asleep From Day. I personally like her voice, as I liked her when she was in Mazzy Star - a very dreamlike, sleepy voice.

But anyway. About girls singing on Chems tracks. I believe there's another thread where it was asked who should the Chems collab with and I mentioned a couple girls there...

Toni, yes. Got that "y" sneaked in there. :-//

I came across PWEI every now and then, but never got my hands on any releases. Guess I missed them when I was too young.

Siouxie Sioux is how it's spelled. :) She does have a great voice, well had a great voice. Maybe it was a bad night or something but when I saw her perform last, she was having an awful hard time hitting some of those notes... especially during Cities in Dust. But I don't think it's anything a bit of studio magic couldn't fix,eh? On her records her voice is astounding and so unique.
