I agree that it can be fairly difficult to follow posts if you dont have access to a computer for 2 days, sometimes even 1 day, i guess thats why i dont post as often as i would like to :-P But even so, it is still the official forum and it is still the largest gatherring of chemical brothers nuts in the 1 place at the 1 time.

couldnt agree more

your problem isn't with the board itself. phpBB is a stable completely usable forum script. Realistically all that needs done is pruning to the db and ongoing moderation. I like your Moxie I think you would do well keep your chems threads here. This is the official board, for a reason, because its stuck under the chems domain name. Trying to pull people out of here for another forum would be dissipating the strength of what it currently is. You'd give yourself a headache trying to make people go there.



What I propose if there really are no Moderators is some sort of contest on size of chems collection and knowledge of the group. Along with some way to rate the other things Mods need. Like patience, Diplomacy, Tact.. all those other random bits.



Of course just to get it out of the way... I nominate myself... You could see that coming couldn't you?



I have many years of experience with forum scripts and Moderation isn't really hard if you have board guidelines. I've got lots and lots and lots of of Chems, and next time I get paid I'm going to fill in my collection with all kinds of stuff i didn't even know was available. Hell I just threw down 60 bucks on one piece of Chems Vinyl. 60 bucks for Slow!!! Theres only 200 of them in the world! If thats not dedication, you tell me what is.
