And i realised, we have so many great, funny, awesome memories (for the forumites that have been here for ages, like me)
Many great forummembers have left us (Chrisman!!!)
So what is your coolest memorie on the Chemical Forum?
I have a lot, but one that really comes to mind is how hard i laughed (out loud, in an internetcafe in Paris, where people looked at me like i was crazy) cause somebody thought the lyrics to 'All rights reversed' where:
"driven by the planets and their moonboots"
HAHAHAHAHA
Still so funny

tom coming on to tell off rich (acidchildren) for the champagne spilling incident! lol
Defined a little more formally, "escape velocity" is the initial speed required to go from an initial point in a gravitational potential field to infinity with a residual velocity of zero, with all speeds and velocities measured with respect to the field

That was great! I'm so glad I got to be a part of that - bouncing from the forum and tiny chat. In tiny chat, there was that guy getting his freak on. That was too funny!

Aah, those Radio 1 forum orgies. I was always late to the party, so I waded through the aftermath. Props to iguanapunk for letting Pete Tong know the forum was moist with excitement. Best shout out to the forum, ever.

There have been other meetups that started here on the forum, and they mark some of the happiest times in my life - meeting up with people before, during and after shows all the way to bumping into inchemwetrust on the street out in Los Angeles outside a record store on the same quest to find Further before its actual release date, haha.
As for great forum moments, I agree those BBC Pete Tong premiers were good times.
And of course the 'fucking animals in Eric's house' moment is a good one.
I could be here all day telling stories. There's so many...!

On a more personal note, I love my trip out to the California shows in 07. Though the threads that my trip was documented in, aren't as fruitful as some of the others that have been mentioned. I can admit that that weekend was one of the greatest moments of my life. The people I met, the things I experienced, it was amazing. I don't remember any other time where I smiled for a 72 hour period.

Someone else, I can't remember if it was mippio or mcchebne - posted about having gone to a dj set and afterward went roaming around London in the wee hours, then made a stop to see David Blane when he was doing that stunt in the clear box for god knows how long.
Bosco, your 2007 adventure following the Chems to the west coast was awesome - post Chems Nocturnal: I will never forget you yelling "whirlygirl!!!!" at the top of your lungs in front of that cop (practically in his face) in downtown Los Angeles. Pure comedy!

Me, I've enjoyed Ed's visits, whether he's putting in their place (and sometimes renaming) the guys who constantly disagree with new tracks, mixes, setlists, or answering our many questions regarding unidentified tracks or the sum of K, D, and B.
But my favorite moment here were the days surrounding the iTunes Pass. I still vividly remember June 8th, after waiting for hours for The Further Experience to 'finish processing', sneaking my laptop into my room at 2 AM and lying in bed with it on my chest, face as close to the screen as possible, watching and listening breathlessly as 51 minutes of brilliant psychedelica played out in front of me. Then, posting this while my mind was still blown.
That was the best day of my life, unforgettable.

Pink Shoes: A Japanese forum member who hadn't quite grasped the beauty of the English language. She made us all laugh (at her admittedly) but after a while she became very annoying. She used to call me "iggy child" I think, but I can't remember much because those were my heavy drinking days so I'll get the others to fill you in.
Slipvin: He was my predecessor, an obvious troll. He was hated, but I liked him as we were brothers of the soul. I understood where he was coming from, and I liked the fact he didn't care what people thought of him.

Yeah, and there was one guy who was freakishly dancing topless in front of his webcam. That was awkward.

I think Ben has some screenshots of that moment !
I also was freaking out behind my webcam dancing like a crazy monkey on XTC
Another good memory is Tom coming on the forum to tell us they would play new tracks at their Coachella set, and the Coachella feedback, with the first time Don't Think and Escape Velocity were played...pure beautiful vibes !
