I think I'm most likely going to be hitting up the show here in SF as well as the show in LA... :D

i live in Minneapolis, and really the only way i could go to any sort of show is if it was all ages and practically right outside my door. :(

yeah, the iTunes version has no "2 Many DJs" sample. Ha... Whatever, I paid two artists I really like, so that's fair.

Soulwax - "Part of the Weekend never dies" DVD comes out next month! A live music film and a Documentary.

I guess a little notice would help in the future when you put a remix on Itunes for sale, then give it away for free later.

hearing it on my sennheisers for the first time - WHOAAAA! this mix fuckin ROCKS!

the kickin at 1.31 - whoa- what IS that sound?

Also the twisted keys around 2.30 - WHOA - love em!

I love this remix! I never thought anyone could do anything with this masterpiece - this is a genuinely good mix - i'm sure tom n ed approve - it's right up their alley - something they'd prolly do themselves - it's dirty and twisted! nothing else would have worked against the cult original!

sorry for the long post, but this rocks on good headphones and good quality!

i've never heard soulwax - would like to try - where do i start?

How have you never heard Soulwax? Damn.

Listen to Soulwax's Any Minute Now.

Then listen to Soulwax's Nite Versions, which is Any Minute Now remixed and mixed together in a nearly seamless, hour-long mix.

Then listen to: Most of the Remixes We've Made for other People over the Years Except for the One for Einstürzende Neubauten Because We Lost It and a Few We Didn't Think Sounded Good Enough or Just Didn't Fit in Length-wise, but Including Some that Are Hard to Find Because either People Forgot about Them or Simply Because They Haven't Been Released yet, a Few We Really Love, One We Think Is Just Ok, Some We Did for Free, Some We Did for Money, Some for Ourselves without Permission and Some for Friends as Swaps but Never on Time and Always at Our Studio in Ghent.

My advice with their previous albums before Any Minute now is not to bother with them. They're standard rock-pop albums that aren't very noteworthy.

::cheers::

I think this remix is banging!

Should pay the $130 to see soulwax/2manyDJ's at parklife this September but dance festivals here are now filled with morons. Besides its a rip off.

its a little early but thanks anyway

Oh it was banging! I guess it's similar because of the low pulsating bass and the re-arranging.

^The same here.

This sounds so different on big speakers, definetly a banger (hoping for a better quality of the "2 many Djs" version FLAC or 320kbps MP3 at least).

F&%k yo EMI!
