As you may know, Mr. Oizo is not just a french electronic music legend, he is also a movie director.
His next movie, Rubber will be the story of a tire, named Robert, who sees a pile of burning tires, and decides to revenge, by killing all humans by making their head explode.

I love how Mr Oizo can make a track basically out of 4 or 5 2s loops, and you can instantely tell it's one of his track, and it's always awesome.

FYI : he shot the entire movie with a photo camera, not a video camera ! It's a Canon cmaera that costs around $2000 I think, and it does HD video. He said it was great, because the image is beautiful, and it was pretty unexpensive (compared to usual cameras used to shot a movie)

Could only be a Canon EOS 5D MkII. Films in Full-HD and gives it a really nice "film"-look. The last episode of the actual season of House M.D. was filmed with that one.

No, not a Mr Oizo movie. And if you had seen Steak, you'd know that it's definitely not an Oscar movie
Dunno if you can order from the Fnac, but here you go:

The last episodes of the new House season had been shot with that camera. And the director of the episodes is Juan José Campanella, argentinian/spanish director of the marvelous El Secreto de sus Ojos, winner of the Foreign Oscar this year (and not shot with that camera).
BTW, that Mr.Oizo stuff looks more like pretentious videoart (à la Electroma) and I´m pretty sure won´t have theatrical release outside France. Music videos and narrative features have different codes and well, I think they aren´t very aware of that...

If you say so ...
IMHO all this "french-touch" crew should stick to make good music vids, which is in itself a difficult task...
And BTW, ben_J, has been released in the Hexagon the Thomas Bangalter music for Enter the Void? do you know something? I should be some kind of masochistic, because Irreversible score almost made me barf...and I´m looking 4 more...

He didn't do any tracks. It's just some ambient sound. The only track is the credits at the beginning and it's LFO - Freak.
