I think she did that ranking, everywhere I looked I saw "Madonna", wtf!
Where is The Future Sound of London?
Where is Aphex Twin?
Cmon!
I mean, We Have Explosive and On, for example.
The Verve #8?
A walking man on the street gets #8?
I mean, the song is really good, but is the video THAT good to be #8?
They never learn the lesson, it's The Prodigy!
Elektrobank?
What does that video have?
Tonight Tonight #57?
I don't like SP, I don't have any problem if I have to listen to them, but I think that their video is great, and #57 isn't fair at all.
I love that Royksopp video, as well as the music.

Chris Cunningham just once?? 8O 8O On a Madonna video even. Come on people!! :x Aphex Twin - Come to daddy?? ! of the most amazing video's ever made. Bjrk - All is full of love?? crappy site :x
I love good video's. I was happy to see Michel Gondry and Spike Jonze in the list. Also Walter Stern, who has done some many of my favourite bands over the years, David Lynch and Jonas Akkerlund. They should have watch MTV2 a bit more in stead of just MTV (or whatever commercial music channel)

The Verve video is one of my favourites. It's fantastic and more interesting that you've said.
Elektrobanks video is disapointing, such a great song but not a video to match.

There is many many more interesting videos than listed on the site. Apex Twin for example, like Skylined mention. And i think the Star Guitar is more better than Elektrobank (technically and ideally), but maybe they choose clips with live actors and they counting actors talents???I don't know :?

In that case they shold have included Fatboy Slims Weapon of choice with Christopher Walken. Now THAT are acting skills :D and some pretty good dance moves btw 8)
Oh yes! Great track, indeed!I like also the 'Return to Innocence' by Enigma, this is very good idea for a track.

a-Ha at number 1! X-D I remember a day when all MTV ever did was play music videos, and Take On Me was on constant rotation.
And the Art of Noise video, that was shown a lot too. Great song, too.
I know there's a lot of videos that should've gotten a mention, and a couple that are better left forgotten like that Total Eclipse of the Heart video by Bonnie Tyler and Pat Benetar Love Is A Battlefield. It would've been nice to see more Chems or the Bjork All Is Full Of Love but I do think it's appropriate for Madonna to get so many mentions - she was one of the biggest pop stars with the most videos played the most times on MTV way back when. I'm surprised not to see any Tool videos on there (unless I missed it) - but score one for stop-motion animation with Peter Gabriel's Sledgehammer. That one was great.

Ooops, a-ha at #2. Anyway. I think a couple of other videos that should've at least gotten an honorable mention is Duran Duran 'Girls On Film' and Divinyls 'I Touch Myself' - both videos banned to late-night for their suggestive nature!

I hate the edit version of Elektrobank (used in the clip) because this is out of climate wchich is amazing grow in the standard long version :? Every part of track is too short and don't let to grow and build the psychedelic atmosphere. It's...sound just not properly!Anyway clip is very good and like it so much.

I LOVE the electrobank video. When i saw it for the "first' time ( when being a chems fan ) i rememberd i saw it when i was a lot younger , i remembered i always watched that video cause i loved the gymnist in it !! And as Tom says himself, it's great how Jonze comes up with a rythmic gymnast by listening to this song. I think it's so original , and it never bores me.
