My home sound system is Sony, my speakers are advent. Hand me downs from family who've gotten bigger and better systems. Needless to say my setup is old but it gets the job done, I can't complain. I can only play so loud anyway, have to be respectful of the neighbors.

My car has the stock system that it came with. A subwoofer and 2 more speakers would be fantastic but I like the way it is for now, it's a decent system and it's loud enough for me and the tone is good. My husband's car has an Alpine setup which is really nice. But he has a cd changer which I don't like because it's so hard to get to. It's a pain to change discs (you can't change them in transit) and as a result you're stuck listening to the 6 same cd's for a million years...
be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle
