Truthfully I just have NO study habits at all. I know if I invested even a LITTLE bit of time into school I would have very good grades instead of middle-of-the-pack.
Meh. Whatever. It's a new semester in three weeks. We'll see what we can do.

Mine is to see the Chems - some how, some way - and not kill myself financially! Here's hoping!

I'm working on a comprehensive financial plan that may see that happen.
Just need to wait until after the holidays to do some talking to some people.
Either that or I will start dealing drugs.

I reversed my health habits almost overnight, it's just that it was too far into the school semester to really catch up with things. I'll flub my way through these last two exams, enjoy my holidays, make some money, have a wicked NYE (esp. if I can sort out the interesting female front)... and then start fresh in January.
I was really doing well with my studying in September. I'd turned over a new leaf and was putting in effort like I never had before. And then things went pear-shaped with my ex and I didn't take it all that well. I allowed myself to be dragged down from my studies and it put me behind the 8-ball.
I have no negative distractions anymore. Just need to make sure I have the discipline.

And school doesn't bother me because it's not like I'm in over my head. It's just 15 or more years of poor study habits that I'm having a hard time reversing.

This statement seems very prophetic of my future...

Really depends on what you choose to go into. My first four years of university (History major, English minor, with a wide variety of other subjects studied) were spent more in the bar than in class and I was still an Honours student with a straight A average. My GPA and my BAC were probably about equivalent. ;-)
Then I changed programs and find that while Pharmacy isn't necessarily harder, per se, it requires more work on a more consistent basis. Just attending the odd lecture and cramming for about 4 hours before an exam doesn't cut it anymore.

Good for you, MX! I'm glad I'm away over NYE as well, as I'm not sure I could handle surfing the forums as everyone sits in Internet cafes posting their reviews/memories/experiences.
I'll be at home on NYE with a bottle of wine and my feet up watching The Twilight Zone marathon - pretty much the standard procedure every NYE. Last year was a special treat because you guys left us a nice message on our answering machine and Jeanie called after the gig. Both calls were so sweet they almost made me cry!! I'm not upset about not being able to go to Turnmills anymore, although it would have been utterly splendid I will await my next opportunity and hope it won't be a missed one next time around.

Aaaah , christmas time. We took our fake christmas tree and out lovely decoration on it. It's always fun to open those boxes with decoration and say a million times "ow yeah weve still got that too! " . Every year it's still nice! Out tree looks wicked - a bit pink , but cool ;)
We put our fake tree up last week. It looks smashing in front of our window next to the menorah on the mantle. X-D Talk about a spiritual identity crisis... Our tree is nice and the perfect size and has a ton of lights on it. The Christmas locomotive going around the tree is a nice touch, my son loves it! The best part is that fake trees are so easy. Back in the days before the fake tree, for some reason stash and I would get in the worst fights trying to get the damn tree through the door.
