Hey, Im thinking about finally purchasing my own computer (been sharing with my family). And by computer I mean notebook.

I'm looking at the MacBook Right now. Do any of you own one? and how would you rate the virus protection, does it live up to the hype?

I dont need anything special. Just the regular tools for storing music, pictures, internet stuff, school stuff, and the occasional midget porn (hey, I'm only human!).

Suggestions?

Tescum (Tesco) are selling some of their PC's pre-installed with Ubuntu. I hate them, but a great move.

Back to topic:

Macbook (i own a Pro) is good and yes there are actually no known viruses for MacOSX. But if you want some you can install Windows via bootcamp or parallels on it :D

Thanks guys.

Im gonna wait awhile though. Hopefully they'll be a little price drop on the MacBook, especially with the holidays around the corner.

Cheers!
