If you like lost - I reccomend this show. The layout of the show is complex and jumps from sub-story to sub-story to create one big picture and has the 'Destiny' element about it. You could say its a bit like XMen.
Anyway - Have any you guys in the states been following it? They're on their 15th episode in Season 1, Sci-Fi UK has copped on and its set to air its debut on the 17th - this sunday. So look out for it.

I actually like the show a lot more than lost these days. Lost has Lost it.
Heroes really is how the xman movie shoulda been.

A friend recommended it to me about a week ago - So i went and searched it up online done a bit of research and it wasn't out here yet so I downloaded up to episode 13 over the weekend and on monday i sat and watched all the way up to episode 12 - Like one after another I was so interested in the whole story. Then that night I downloaded 14 and have been following ever since.
Yeah I agree with the Lost thing- The break killed it, after the 6th episode one season 3 I was so hyped up the ending was unreal I thought - Captured me definitely, but the break was so uncalled for [I suppose they had their reasons]. I just got on with my life, I did watch the 7th episode, but after watching Heroes, Lost just doesn't do it for me as much, still like it and I am going to follow the series - But Heroes is now my favorite show - and I'm not much of a TV person.
Couple of questions, Who's your favorite hero?
- Mines would have to be Japanese Hiro - its my favorite form of sci-fi, bending time and space and if i had to have one power it would be that.
Who do you think Linderman is?
- I haven't clue, I was hoping you knew... - Or had some idea..
Do you think Jessica will kill Nathan?
- I don't think she will, I think Parkman will step in at some point and hopefully cure her, because he can talk to both at the same time due to his powers or whatever.
What super power do you think Parkman's baby will have?
- Im gonna guess - MIND CONTROL 8O

I'd like to be like Isaac... his superpower is SMACK!
I'd be like Captain Chronic... need to smoke up, then I have the power to cause confusion, giggles and munchies.

Hiro and Suresh are my favourites... they keep killing my favourite females in the show so I don't have any right now.

But the new episodes have more Alex (played by Tania Raymonde)! :o I think its just me but she is the most attractive women on TV.

I'd have to say my least favorite character on Heroes is Nikki/Jessica. Either her character is superfluous filler to connect the dots, or it is too complex to share tv time with the rest of the characters.
I am totally disheartened with Lost. That show seriously jumped the shark, it's losing the plot (you can tell the writers are scrambling), and the love triangle/story that has emerged is lame and the only characters I give a crap about are the ones that have been discarded from the storyline since the new season. I've already bitched about it in the Now Hating thread. We'll continue to watch it though since nothing else is on Wednesday nights - at least until the new season of South Park!

F#ck I here so many great thing about this show but living in Holland I probably have to wait over a year to watch it. Is it already on dvd in the US?
Yeah Joslyn - get bitlord and go on www.torrentspy.com and search heroes and start downloading - or use any half decent peer 2 peer like Limewire/Bearshare etc

Yeah thats why its way too corny and geeky but not in a funny way - its not MEANT to be corny and geeky u know what i mean ?!
If your not a sci-fi person then I would agree, but if your into your sci its a must Jeanie honestly, just try and like it and if it doesnt work out youll never like it I guess.

About LOST

I'm still going to watch LOST, but the pacing of the show has become sluggish and off beat. :-|
You are so right about Lost. That show has become a tedious chore of taking 3 steps forward and 2 steps back with each episode. The flashbacks jarring the flow of the story were do-able for the first 2 season, but have become grating. They make it too hard to keep up. The show needs to end this season, preferably with the island being nuked from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.

Aww. But I think it is meant to be corny and geeky. It plays into the fantasies that everyone wishes they had superpowers of some sort.
I think if you gave it 3 episodes, you'd start to dig it a lot. And you'll fall in love with Hiro. He's completely charming, in a geeky sweet way.

Okay i will. We also have huge posters and billboards here with them on it. Ive only seen one episode tho - where Hiro had the find the japanese girl with red ribbon in the hair to prevent her from being hit by a bus. So it might be to soon to judge ;)
Hiro is amazing. If your internet connection is good Id suggest dlin the previous episodes or watching them on the likes of www.alluc.org or something [mind you the qaulity is teh sux0rz/crap basically] but youll still get to watch it.
Anyway Jeanie I hope you like it, I think its class.

the Lost writers have said that the next season will be the last one, so here's hoping it doesn't drag out to die a slow death.

Last night's episode of Lost was better than last week's I will admit, but once again the plot seems to be thickening. And for what? I'm kind of getting tired of it, yet strangely compelled with this odd moral obligation to continue watching. Anyway, whatever's going on in the plot is not bringing anyone on the island any closer to a resolution. We're just getting more flashbacks. It's all becoming too convoluted and perhaps it might be best to just wait til the episodes are all on dvd so they can be watched back to back.
