Right, this is just to set the record straight.



I have absolutely nothing to gain by posting this message.



I am not a crazed Chemical Brothers fan trying to get one over on you all by lying about this. I am just an ordinary bloke who thought you might be interested in the experience I had as you are clearly all big fans. I couldn't even tell you which one is Tom and which is Ed!!



I was with four other people at the time. Two of these doubted that they were who I said they were. One of these people actually went into an Internet cafe next to the bar, did an image search and came out with a massive grin on her face.



It was around 1.30 in the morning. I know this because we were watching the Liverpool match against West Brom and John Arne Riise had scored his first goal a few minutes earlier.



I spoke mostly to the one with long hair (Tom, Ed?!) who had massive black sideburns (my mate thought he looked like Amos Brearly off Emmerdale!). The other one was pretty quiet. When I left them, they were sat quietly at the back of the bar looking at the menu. A few other people were looking and pointing but didn't go over. When we wandered back past the bar later on, they were still there watching the night go by.



As you can see this is the first time I have posted anything on this website. I have have absolutely no interest in bullshitting anyone. If you don't choose to believe me, fine. I'm not that bothered. Just thought you might be interested.

Thank for letting us know Matchstick, its allways nice to here about when people has spotted celbs.



It sounds like the guys you were talkng to were not Tom and Ed and were pretending to be for a number of reasons.........



1. Ed posted a reply saying he was in Hampstead on boxing day with my granny. And he wouldnt lie.



2.Tom the one you were refering to with long hair no longer has long hair and hasnt for a while now.



Dont worry about people laughing at you, its an easy mistake to make if your not really a fan.

Fair enough. Was convinced it was them. They looked exactly like them. Maybe that was their intention.



Pissed off now as it was one of the highlights of my holiday! Never mind!
