That was quick Sneaker! A fucking brilliant show, I think that was the best show i have been to mainly because i hadn't herd alot of the tracks live. The atmosphere was great and the music was spot on(except secret marchines).

It was cool meeting you people; sneaker, jeanie and irishfan, hope you enjoyed it as much as me. The only downer was my mate getting hit outside, plus i saw someone throw a bottle at ed.

Awesome that you had a good time - then again, I wasn't expecting anything less. Plus super duper cool to meet up with the forum people!
God I can't wait til I get to see the Chems again! A little over a month to go.

yer...1st time me and my m8s have seen the chems...amazin show on friday breakin expectations by far...trippin out visuals and a good mix of old+new beats...25 quid well spent
...and i was FEELIN that bass goin in there...quality show

Ok - blown away by the chems thats a new one on me that gig last night was soooo wicked - crowd was jumping wicked venue and their consistency with the hard and fast music blew me away - was expecting to be milling around waiting for the next cool tune but just didnt stop dancing, what an atmosphere!! Now look forward to seeing them at V totally, went with no expectations and came out grinning from ear to ear!! Ok so the question is, does anyone know where i can get a copy of the set done in there last night - if indeed I can? Thanks guys xx

The Brixton Gigs ? Weekend. VERY LONG STORY! So sit back , make some tea and enjoy :p
Okay guys and girls...i?m going to tell you about the best weekend of my life.
I ain?t kiddin? ... i never felt as good as this 4 hours that i saw the brothers. Sorry my English is poor but I?ll do my best.
As some of you know I was in London already , I was there from last Monday for work...and the whole week i was so excited , every morning i woke up i thought ? 2 more days ! 1 more day !! ? And than finally?.it was Friday. The best Friday of my life. The sun was shining , I was going to get my ticket in the evening , the Irish guys where coming and I was finally going to see the Chems?that whole day was kind off weird , I was excited en nervous and stressed cause I didn?t have my ticket yet?!!!
So after my castings I went to the hotel to meet Chem?d up , his Mate who?s name I cant write so I?ll call him Erin and Irish fan. It was so nice to see the faces behind the names , all three of you guys are really awesome , really funny and sweet !! The day as passing by and , I don?t know why , I was starting to be so nervous !!!
So , around 8 we went to the venue , and when we got there , I could feel all this adrenaline going , I was so excited ? !!! Then I picked up my ticket , it was a bit dodgy , this guy had 2 phone?s , one for the tickets and one for?.who knows. But I didn?t care , I had the ticket , I was the happiest girl in the world. Around 9 we we?re in the venue , and we could walk straight up to the front !!! We were really on the front row , half a meter right from the middle , that moment I was getting crazy , it was so easy to get in front !!! So we chilled out , took some crazy pics , had a good laugh , and then at around 10 I guess the Secret Machines came on. The music is very nice but doesn?t do it for me. It?s very nice relaxing music to me , but doesn?t give you that kick, I think they are good musicians though , they have a good sound. So when they finished there set , the crowd started to be very excited?.only have an hour to wait !! I was so nervous , I couldn?t wait no longer and had to go the toilet like 4 times hahaha. The dj played some really good tunes that made everybody dance.
At 11.15 he stopped , the crowd went crazy , the stage got dark and the famous music starts playing that they start every gig with?at this moment I could barely stand on my feet , that?s how excited I was , I still feel it if I think about it ? !!! And than?.Finally?.what a moment , what a feeling , there they were , 2 meters away from us , the crowd went crazy , I went crazy , everything was crazy :D As they tuned up ( ? ) HBHG , the screaming and yelling of the crowd was amazing , I had tears in my eyes because of this amazing moment?and there it was. ?HEY GIRL! HEY BOY! SUPERSTAR DJ?S! HERE WE GO!? and when the beat kicked in?.i think I jumped 3 meters up. What a feeling , I can?t even describe it , I remember myself thinking ? THIS IS IT! THIS IS THE BEST FEELING EVER! ? Hahaha. I really liked the fact they didn?t change a lot on HBHG , it?s such a good start , really makes the crowd go insane !!! Then they mixed in Get yourself High , and it?s soooo cool how everybody sings ? JUST GET YOURSELF HIGH !!! ? I don?t remember the whole setlist , because I was to busy being crazy and excited. Music Response was amazing to hear live , the beat just goes through your whole body , such a good feeling. During Music:Response Ed was in the back , with his back turned towards us , for the whole song , I couldn?t really see what he was doing?.it was SO FUNNY , Ed seemed to be a little Under The Influence ( Of the music , maybe , who knows ? )He walked off the stage after 10 minutes and than came back again. But basicly he was doing 3 things :
1- Walk around the stage , putting his arms up , make some weird jump and walk around again
2- Standing in front of the little lights on the music machines ( don?t know what they are called ) and staring at them , and sometimes turn or push some button
3- Going up to Tom , push some buttons and stuff , and walk around again.
I don?t know what he was doing , but he is just SO Funny , he came really close to us , make some weird move , soooo funny?I love him :D Tom is amazing , his energy just really makes you go crazy , it?s so great how he shouts at the drum machine , how when the beat drops in he just gets really into it like us ,Really buzzing up the crowd. How he always puts his arms up and seems to ask the crowd ? Do you want some more ?!?! ? I love him even more :D At one moment he shined the light on us that is on his panel , and he was saying stuff like ? COME ON! COME ON!? And the expressions he makes when there is a beautiful sound , it makes me thing that he isn?t human ? what they do to us , that feeling they give us , they can?t be human !!! Anyway , Galvanize got a huge respond of the crowd aswel , it?s great how they mix it and the visuals are GREAT , the PTB head with plains shooting out of his mouth. GREAT !!!
The Big Jump , amazing , it works really good live , but Come Inside is amazing , the visuals of the mouth saying the words , AMAZING !!! After I think Out of control and it doesn?t matter , witch was off course brilliant , there it was : Temptation / Star Guitar?this was SO BEAUTIFUL , so amazing live , so great with the visuals , it was sooooo amazing , damn I cant even explain?!!! I think than came Surface to Air , and that really made me cry?I know it?s bit weird , but that song is so amazing to me , I listened to it a lot when I felt very bad , and then I heard it live?.the crowd was so amazing. Everybody was dancing and hugging each other , even people we don?t even know , one big family , I love the English crowd , MY FAVORITE !!! I think it was then when there was a little break , or was that after Elektrobank ? I think after elektrobank , when they left the stage leaving a bassline?the crowd was cheering and giving huge applause.When they came back both of them came into the front , Tom kind of?looked like encouraging Ed ?? He was pushing him forward. That?s how it looked to me. I don?t remember with wich song they came back with I think it was HOLD TIGHT LONDON wich was?.damn , so great , really different from the album. ( Such a shame , I?ve seen it twice?but forgive me , although I was completely sober , I was very very UNDER THE INFLUENCE :D ) I don?t remember everything !) The last song they played was TPPR?.and this my friends?it?s not evening listening to music or seeing a gig. It?s a experience , it?s like a trip , like one guy said to me on the 19th gig ? THIS IS MY CHURCH !!! ? It? so amazing to hear this live ,.. I can?t explain but you guys know this feeling. I think Tom was telling Ed he could do this song , as Tom is doing most of the stuff , you can see on the pics it was like Tom is telling Ed ? You can do it , come on !!! ? ( The 19th some of the people in the crowd were going ? COME ON ED!!! ? Great :D) In the end Tom used this machine to make this amazing sound , really great , but sad aswell cause it was the end of the show?Believe is such a great track live aswell?I am sorry , my setlist isn?t right but it?s similar to the other gigs. Irish fan will probably correct me.
As they got off the stage , the crowd gave them a really good applause , very much screaming , and I was just?.blown away?.happy cause I knew the next evening I would see them again. Emotional cause it was so mind blowing , so amazing , SO GREAT !!! We danced after , talked about the gig , and went back to the hotel?.when I was in bed I still couldn?t believe how good it was?!!!
The next day the four of us went record shopping in Soho , what a nice day , wheater was perfect , chilling with this amazing people and knowing that I will see the chems again?.!!! After a nice dinner ( hamburgers and peppersteak :P ) me and Irishfan went to Brixton to meet Acid Children and Sneaker Beater and Chem?d up and Erin went to a party.Acid and Sneaker?.both of you guys , it was so nice to meet you?.so good to see the gig with u guys !!! And Sneaker , thanx again for the lift and the tour of London?.!! I have to say?this gig was even better, YES! It?s possible. It was better for me cause :
1- Friday I was taking so many Picture?s that I missed a lot
2- Friday I was to busy trying to believe that FINALY I was seeing them live?.
3- I was in front of Tom the whooooole time?.!!!!
Irish Fan and me had such a good laugh about Ed again , he is soooo funny :D This concert yes ? it was better for me. The best things of the 19th gig :
1- For some reason the music made me even more crazy than the day before probably because of the reasons I said above.
2- Tom and Ed ( THE MOMENT OF MY LIFE! ) gave us ( Our group of Irish fan , Sneaker , Acid , Me ) The Thumbs up when they left the stage , really to us !!! And a couple of times against the concert they noticed us , that was so amazing?.!!!
Well , the 19th gig was everyting I said about the 18th gig but then even better, I think the 18th I didn?t give myself the time to really experience it. When they left the stage ? this is embarising , should I tell this ?! Haha ? I really had to cry a bit , because of this whole amazing weekend,,,,this amazing show !! Yes , I am in love with them and their music?!!! Guys?it?s true what you guys say , it makes you a different person !! Today at home something bad happened and I reacted so good on it , so weird?!!! Ow and like Acid said , the only downer , somebody trew a bottle at them ?! And you coulds see Ed was like ? What the fuck ? ? and the girl next to me was so under the influence of something , it was scary , at one moment she almost took her top of , I put it back on her :o Crazy people. And the security guys were AWESOME!!!!
This morning I had to get up at 7.45 , I flew home at 12.05 , I was so dead , no more power , no more energy , but being the most satisfied I?ve ever been in my life. This weekend was ( Thanks to all the people I met ! ) amazing , like in a dream,..i really was the best weekend of my life. I already booked myself out of work for Pinkpop?the Chems are addicting?!!

JEANIE!!!!! I have seriously been keeping on eye on this space, waiting for your review! What a great nite getting to experience the Chems with all these great people from the forum - for the first time no less!
I can feel your excitement jumping off the computer screen, no kidding. So cool to read everything you wrote, I felt like I was there right next to you! Well I was in spirit anyway. ;) Thanks so much for taking the time to write in such detail, it was an enjoyable read!

uaah i can feel what you felt that night!!! a very nice review you made, it was like bringing back the day i was in berlin, same emotions same feeling same excitement, for sure. A real flashback to me, i have to thank you. And you could take the pics i want to and so i'm very happy to see some impressions visually from what you experienced (which are quite similiar to mine) Yeaah it must have been a great event joining them in England in their home country.
On one of the photographs your head seemed to blow up any moment, hahah X-D
to pic #20 they look like starting some polonaise with the crowd, funny
and btw i never saw either of them wearing a shirt their own logo...maybe because of the home match they had there . . .
And another questions i have is did you give them your camera to take some pics or did stand om stage for some times? Because some of the pics awake that feeling...
