I love my job but sometimes it feels like the same old rut, day in and day out. I've seen a lot of change in the company over the years (mainly the eradication of the art department, which is where I worked) and the company isn't run the way it used to be. Tower is up for sale and has been up for sale for over 2 years now, and we still haven't had any biters. It's even worse now that the company filed for bankruptcy to make good on it's outstanding debt but it's like Tower is barely trying to stay afloat in a dying market. Right now we're literally owned by the banks - it's all about the bottom line and how much product they can shuffle from the warehouses to the stores, and back to the warehouses again. We slate all this product for return, send it back, then literally a couple days later we get in a fresh shipment of the same product so the sotres are overflowing with product - it just looks bad. It's no way to sell records...

dammit! i love tower, they always have all of the shit i cant find anywhere else! and rare electronic stuff is really hard to find down here, well i guess theres always amazon...

So disappointing, so very disappointing. Looks like I have to ace tomorrow's two exams to keep my Pharmacy hopes alive.

Tower's still in business - but for how long... They did file for Chapter 11 which is basically another way of saying the company worked out a deal with their creditors/banks and reassessed the massive amounts of debt the company accrued over the years - mainly the 90's when lots of irrational cocaine decisions were made in a bid to outdo every competitor and open up more stores for no good reason. Except now, Tower is having a hard time keeping up with places like Best Buy and discount places like Target and Walmart.



Shop away, it'll keep me employed! ;) The only thing going for Tower is the selection.

My sanwiches dont taste so good cause i just been to the dentist and she put something on my teeth to make them elss sensitive.

don't know why people are scared of the dentist.

Maybe you know when i tell you she pulled out 6 teeth once.

6 teeth that sounds alot. some of us have perfect teeth

Now i have. because she took this tooth out so i could hav a braises ( hoe do you write that ) so now i have very nice teeth.
