Shameless self promotion moment that I think will leave many of you entertained. I open with my love for the Brothers, and then share my unapologetic opinion about Daft Punk and the pseudo "Kiss" cult following they have created for themselves.

Am i the only person who loves Human After All? I love how raw it is. Reminds me of garage rock from the 70's...only made by robots :)

Haven't finished reading this yet, but you don't actually make it clear in your first paragraph that you're talking about The Chemical Brothers. :-P

I'm not saying you should change it. It's your website ;)

It's just an interensting article to which I actually agree.
I used to set 0.8 em too. Now I usually have 100%.
Believe me - that kind of font is not easy to read with that size on my 1920x1080 ;)
Specially in that About Me section where you have to read long lines from left to right.

Do whatever you like, it's just my really humble opinion!

Some nice graphic work there by the way!

Thanks Pooter for taking the time to read it. And Kosek, I'm always down to take on some criticism. And that was some precise and correct criticism.

Nice overview! I agree on most parts of your review of their catalogue. maybe add a bit of the wider implications of their work. I regard human after all as the thing that kickstarted the amazing electrorock from france: Justice, Digitalism, Ed Banger, etc. Maybe it is just me and my friends but after alive 2007 the whole mashup culture exploded into mainstream. Can the same be said about Homework/Discovery?

Okay. So I will admit that hearing that the album is minimally electronic and has been being worked on since 2008 has me pretty excited. I think Human After All suffered immensely from the fact that it was produced in 6 weeks. Only quality babies get produced that fast, and I just mean the first part. Albums of the kind of quality that Discovery had require much longer. Apparently, possibly 5 years.

May cause for a follow up manifesto.

Good story. I also feel that Human after all was way ahead of it's time.
Never tried that Human after all synchronising with Electroma. Have to try that once...
