anyone seen it?
basically french film, about 2 guys, getting revenge for a girls rape, set in one night in franceville. one guy is her boyfriend, the other her ex.
infamous for its 10 minute anal rape scene, extremely graphic head smushing with a fire extinguisher, the fact it starts at the end and goes backwards and it was also shot sith the intention of giving the audience motion sickness, by constantly spinning/moving the camera, using strobe lights and weird disorientating music and (maybe) sub woofer weird base notes, like the brown note....which myth busters dis-proved but anyhow's.
apart from all this its actually a shit film. does nothing new except make you dizzy n feel like puking.
fuckin onion wearing gimps

Very powerfull film the first section with the head bashing is just sickening i actually couldn't watch it all after three or four hit's i covered my eyes and i've seen quite a few sick vids of the net so this suprised me. The sound is not supposed to be the brown note it is apparently a sound that the french police use to dispurse crowds as i make's you nausious.

I remember 'stash and I avoided Harry Potter like the plague because of all the hype. Harry Potter this, Harry Potter that - you couldn't get away from it.
Then one day we saw the books on sale on my work, combined with my discount, why the hell not - we both like to read.
I was very surprised at how well the books were written - everything from the characterization to the scenarios to the engrossing and eloquent storyline made for a quick read that was hard to put down. If that's what it takes to make kids want to read, then I'm all for it. Kids and adults for that matter don't bother reading books anymore, so despite the hype and the movie and toy deals surrounding the stories, it's nice to see people actually pick up a book and enjoy it. Plus, the books are a lot more dark and wicked than the first 2 movies lead on, which gives them an edge that brings in adult readers.
Anyway, I'm babbling again as usual.
No I won't see Irreversible. I had a hard enough time watching the 10 minute rape scene in the Accused and that horid rape scene in Monster. That's quite enough for me.
