Join us in creating a unique global video project for The Chemical Brothers 'Brotherhood' with Google Earth!

Make your own short clip (from 2 to 20 seconds) or photograph about your favorite Chemical Brothers track. Then upload your work here on to the Google Map (after the jump) and tag it to it’s exact global location.

A selection of the best work will be featured in a new concept music video for the Chemical Brothers, To celebrate the launch of the new Chemical Brothers’ album ‘Brotherhood’ videos will feature on a Google Earth channel available on September 1, as well as on the Chemical Brothers Youtube channel.

I wish I were capable of that. With my level of originality I'll probably just end up posting a video of myself saying "I like Star Guitar it's nice".

Hmmm. This sounds like a really cool project! Nice to see an opportunity for fans to get involved in something like this! Here's a chance for iguanapunk to film his whirlygirl/Jeanie girl-on-girl video he's been wanting to direct. Just kiddin. ;)

Too bad the deadline is before my trip to Kauai - would've been great as I'm sure I'll have some astoundingly beautiful pictures... I still want to give it a shot, but I don't know where to begin, hehe. I already have a couple of ideas but I don't know if they would work. I'm no good at any kind of film editing whatsoever, and I'm not exactly a brilliant photographer so, still up in the air about this of course.

The instructions - submitting a short clip/picture about your favorite Chemical Brothers track - are a bit vague. I'm sure some of you have questions, as do I.

One of my main questions would be do we have to have audio accompanying the video or photo submissions?

I don't really understand this contest. Make a video about a Chemical Brothers song? So, what, am I supposed to film myself jumping around and screaming for "Out of Control" or playing basketball for "Hoops"?
