Don't feel bad, Vorpal. You are not alone and what happened to you happens to greater and lesser men (or women, as in my case).

If it provides any comfort, about 9 years ago I fried my monitor. I have a computer hutch, with a shelf up top for a printer. Well, we used to not have a printer, so for decorative purpopses I thought it would be swell and homey to put a plant up on the shelf above my monitor.

One day, during a very hot summer, I decided it was time to water the houseplants. The one on my computer desk, especially. I went a little overboard, needless to say. We were really broke at the time and had no money for new monitor (thankfully stash's grandma kicked down after much pleading).

So yeah. I feel your pain, and that totally blows. :(

Aw, thanks Whirly. Yeah, the guy at the Mac shop that took it apart says that spills and the like are all too common. I'm sorry you toasted your monitor! That must have been complete suckage. 9 years late, but who's complaining!

Hi Guys,

I must share my love to the Chemicals, they actually changes my life, with other bands like them, i have recovered from my illness, dermatillomania, or compulsive skin picking.

I think that music is the ultimate tool to happiness, positivity and ultimately for RECOVERY!

I'm sure i'm not the only one that thinks this way! Spread the word.

Listen to the beat!

So this summer.....I'm an Oompa Loompa.......

I got a summer job making Chocolate, Candy (and Tea) from scratch. Combine me Evil side and me singing at random times and you got yourself an Oompa Loompa. Though essentially at the end of the summer the company wants me to finish some manuals and reports to improve the company. Still get to be evil though.

I also just got accepted for a arts cultural management diploma this fall at the local college. Tight to get in since only 30 people get accepted. Took me a year for the application process. I'm on a big up as of lately. And now With rumors of soon to be EBW 10.....GREAT TIMES!!!

Dude--Rynostar. Congratulations on your acceptance. w00t!

AbbyCart--bummer about your ex-man. That sucks. It's lame that both guys and girls have the complete capability to be absolute utter shits to their loved ones; though my only advice is to remember that everything happens for a reason. My ex-girlfriend is laughable when compared to my current one.

As for me, I'm frustrated with work because I'm working my ass off at times and not really getting recognition for it. :-( Also, my girlfriend is 520 miles away, which doesn't help matters much.

On the bright side, I'm still flying high from the Simian Mobile Disco show I saw two weeks back, and I'm still trying to psych myself up for the Olympia gig which hasn't yet presented a clear path for me to go, but I know will be happening for me.

::cheers, folks::

Hooray for general bullshit.

I've been boarding on inactive on here. So I'm lettin' anyone who cares that I'm still alive and well. Breathing rainy air and trying to enjoy life. Though it's been stupidly stressful and pointlessly emotional lately. Just trying to keep the Chemical spirit going and all will be well, y'know?

For some reason, I get the feeling like lots of the board members are dealing with stress, both emotionally and generally.

I find myself listening to The Sunshine Underground live every day while taking a walk along the water.

Thanks for keeping the chemical spirit alive, man.

::cheers and love::

Life's been getting in the way of... life. Lately.

Middle of last year up through the end was brilliant and wonderful, but too bad I can't say the same about 2008 so far. It's only May and I can't wait to see the piss end of 2008, quite frankly.

I won't elaborate here (and he might get irritated I said anything) but stash hasn't been well. At all. So don't ask questions just send positive vibes or whatever voodoo mumbojumbo you think will work. :)

I saw that you called Pooter and I'll try giving you a return jingle this week.

Other than that I have a beautiful son and my health, good tunes and nice friends so when everything else seems crap I can be thankful for those things.

Not so sweet that things aren't so sweet. :-(

I do send love and voodoo. :)

fuckin 'el man! I am totally in an angry passive mode myself. I will like get myself burned at work or deal with small stuff like shit drivers here in santa cruz, and i just think to myself "2 weeks, then I graduate and my load will be lighter!" apparently I've been a pain in the ass at my work, i didn't realize until a few people called it out. I am just way too up in school and work and not enough time off. Plus I was going to play a concert on friday and out drummer couldn't make it. our singer couldn't but I volunteered to sing a few tracks, but you really need a drummer. Our bands name is Surface to Air. No idea where that came from :)

Although I don't, I feel like I know you guys, because I've been kicking around here for the last year. It does sound like a lot of people are getting stressed, feeling a bit of pressure - guess it's coming up to that time of year. Christmas through to summer is a long stint - exams for some, work for others. Me as well - work is mental, let down badly by someone and now have to spend most of my time away from home and the family. Best way to look at it is that it's always just short term, these things happen in life, but almost always something good or surprising is around the corner, and that changes everything.

Whirly - sending out good vibes and stuff to you and yours. Biff - good luck with the final few weeks of school.

Cheers people. G.

Whirls, hope Stash feels better soon enough. He was kind enough to send me your phone number a few weeks back, but I've been swamped to give you a ring as much as I want to. I hope to soon!

Biff, keep truckin; through school. I know the feeling of those final few weeks.
