Lucky bastard! We've got a heat wave over here!

It's now 10:31 in the morning local time (holland).

I'm at work.

It sucks big time.

A lot of people standing around my desk asking me a all kind of stupid questions. (ok not at this moment but for the last 2 hours)

Ohh my telephone rings.

Some guy telling me all sorts of blah blah.

+++++jeez he just keeps on blurring++++++

It's not a nice day to work.

Outside it's chilly but the sun shines. So good weather.

I just want to get in my car en drive around with the music playng loud on my CD-player.

I work in a company that makes Cooling Equipment. ( www.goedhart.nl )

We'll we deliver those around the globe. (from Australia to south-america from North America to Japan and off course all of Europe)

I'm working (or reading you guys) at the purchase-department.

Can't wait for the weekend to start.

Have to go. Speak to you later. Cheers!!

I worked my ass off today helping set up a big ass record store for the Christmas festivities *choke* What a nightmare - not so much mind wracking work, just tedious shit and lots of cd shuffling and if I see one more Christmas cd I'm going to strangle Santa Claus and all his little fncking elves too. Bah humbug. I don't mind retail (but I miss my old position, which doesn't exist anymore) as a matter of fact, I love talking to people about music all day - but the holidays. Ugh. Retail is a living nightmare when it comes to the holidays.

Sorry, I think I interpreted this thread as the "rant" thread. Sorry.

OK, what made my day... Hasn't started yet, but I'm going clubbing, I'm going clubbing, na-na*nah* na-na!

^ OK club sucked. Damn it, all dressed up and nowhere to go. A whole crate of vinyl and not one good song worth dancing to. The crowd sucked as well - maybe I'm just spoiled (how can you beat the Chems???) But that club was ridiculous. And the sound system sucked, it was all tinny sounding. And the crowd... I used to be a little goth/indistril chick so I've got nothing against em, but damn - these people dancing to 45 Grave whilst doing psycho ballet... well at least it was entertaining. *BUT* I will say that during that club going excursion, something did indeed make my day. In the front room of the club there are 2 large projector screens (kind of like, instant cool cheap visuals) - but pretty cool nontheless. When I got the the club, the movia Barbarella was being shows on those screen. Then when the movie was over, the played the Chemical Bros dvd - just ran all the videos in one conitnuous loop. I just kept waiting for the bored looking dj to whip out some big chemical tune, but it never happened. Ah well, if that was enough to make my day...

Non of that really made any sense, did it? ;)

When I came home, lying down was bliss. That made my day.

:D 8) :D Nerdcore, awesome news!!!!! A big second to what GLAKO said. Between the engagement and the Chems changing your life and you experiencing new music, it sounds like your life is definitely taking a most excellent turn!

I know this pales in comparison, but what made my day today was going out with my husband and son to a special beach front town where we hiked down to this cave, walked along the beach and spotted dozing sea lions and harbor seals, flocks of pelicans, sea anenomes galore, lots and lots of crabs and to top it all off the weather was gorgeous.

Time is irrelevant, it's only and true worth lies in that it's a measurer. Cellular degeneration is due to something, we must find out this something. Time does not make you old, it does not make you rich and it does not make you wise.

I won a dmx dvd, dmx dvd,

yeah kid look at me,

trying to be free,

i'm trying to be what you wanna be,

look in my eyes and you see,

what it takes to be me,

won with little effort but still not free.

If you ask how old I be,

I will say 23.

I can keep this buzzing like a bee,

this the last line i'ma leaf like a tree.
