Effortlessly evoking the dancefloors of Manchester and Minneapolis in the early 80s and London of 2007, ?We Are The Night? is The Chemical Brothers at their very best. Infectious from the ominous opening through to the gorgeous dying embers, the record features some of their most mind-blowing music to date, a massive step up for the duo in terms of both production and sound. The album builds on the band's immense back catalogue and reaffirms them as true pioneers of electronic music, a band who are consistently hugely successful both critically and commercially.
?We Are The Night? follows on from 2005?s ?Push The Button?, which featured the huge single ?Galvanize?, the most played record on Radio One of that year. As is often the way with Chemical Brothers records, it achieved a life of it?s own, soundtracking everything from South American raves to the Notting Hill Carnival and all points in between. The duo recently sneaked out an album preview (the anonymously released ultra limited ?Electronic Battle Weapon? 8 & 9). Much of the record has been tested out on dancefloors across the world during the past twelve months.

Remember when tracklisting for PTB was released everyone was like oh Hold tight london is going to be killer dirty acid house track...and it is a great track but it's just that it is completely usless to even think about what the track will sound like simply by it's name.

To me , No Path to Follow , We are the Night and Do it Again sound like evil dirty acid house stompers.
A Modern Midnight Conversation and Harpoon and Das Spiegel sound like more euphoric beautifull kinda tracks.
But the funny thing is , u never know. How beautifull is the name " Hoops " but how evil is the song ?! U know what i mean. The Chems have always combined evilness with beauty. I can sense they did it again!

Well Kraftwerk has the classic track called Das Model so I made a very dumb and direct connection to Das Spiegel.
Another thing that the title reminds me of: http://en.wikipedia....iki/Der_Spiegel
But it's _Der_ Spiegel, not Das ... I don't know much anything about the German language so I'd like to ask what "Das Spiegel" actually means? Is it even correctly written?
Let's talk about prepositions!
And don't buy into that "IT'S HYPNO SUPER OMGTASTIC POUNDING MEGA-AWESOMENESS" PR talk ... you see how they glorify galvanize there.
