Right can someone help me, ive just been watching mtv dance after dark and saw a video of chemical brothers tune that ive never heard before.

Basically its a girl standing on a beach and keeps having flash backs to a club. She chases a little girlin red jacket who has one eye then an old barn falls apart but the window fall over the girl, thus she isnt hurt. theres also two children, one is making the other float through a ring.

Any ideas please? Might be totally new?

Was it 2002? Well, see, im a nerd.

But, wait, We had a flood in 2001 and as far as I can remember I heard Galaxy Bounce in a TV news show at the time. But it might be not impossible that my memory likes to mess with me..

Those of us who were on the forum at that point....

I remember the lead up with EBW6 in the summer of 2001 and then star guitar coming out right before my birthday in september. I was then pissed when the album was delayed 3 weeks.......but Tom and Ed definetly made up for it.

Come With Us came out in 2002 - I remember when it dropped here in the States because it came out on January 29 and it was my birthday. I was so excited! So I bought myself the gatefold CD.

But previously, It Began In Afrika was released as a limited edition single in 2001. It was one of those releases that came out due to popular demand which was a really cool thing the Chems and the label did for fans. I remember that release well... I was so looking forward to it because I'd heard it a few months beforehand when the Chems did a dj set at Coachella. Release date was on September 11. Needless to say, that was a mind-wrecking day... and the events unfolding in the news pushed everything else in everyone's minds to te backburner. I was working at Tower Records at the time and on that day we ended up closing shortly before we opened the doors, so the singles weren't even unpacked and shelved til the following day.

Aaaaaaanyway...

I think Ryno meant EBW 5 (africa). What a summer that was, saw the Bros dj at Summer Sound System and Creamfields that year :)

I remember back then, when I went out to go buy the It Began In Afrika on September 11th 2001 (the day it came out) (also 911). Came home and was about to listen to it when I saw all of the news and such. Didn't get around listening to it until the 13th. Since I hadn't heard the EBW5 yet, I was blown away when I listened to it.

I wasn't the fan in 2001 that I am now, so I didn't hear Afrika until Come with Us came out in the States.

But how my enthusiasm did rise after seeing them live... :)

Interestingly enough, I first listened to The Test on a beach -exactly- like on the video. It caused my head to spin a bit when I first saw the vid.

Hey folks!

Can anyone of you help me identify this oldschool jungle-like tune for me? I taped it on cassette I guess between 94-96 but was never able to get its name. Your help would be much appreciated.
