and justin robertson gives a nice little review in his chart as well
The Chemical Brothers - Battle Weapon 8 [CD-R]
Justin: "Ed gave me this on CD. It's just full on, crazy, absolutely loopy. I think it's still a demo so it's not quite finished at the moment. It's a devastating record and it's been a highlight the last few weeks when I've played it out. It's very dancefloor, very energetic but quite different from the other ones in the series. It's a step forward. It's got this kind of weird noise in it - maybe a guitar or something. I can imagine it fitting into their live show."

Yey, thanks man!
apart from that i'd love to hear a (very very) slightly reworked version of EBW9. I mean it's a fantastic record. But what i always felt about the beat was that it had a bit too much of treble. It could bear some more depth (or even layers). It worked really good live but as a track itself its the beat that still bothers me a very little. Not the type of 4-on-the-floor, just the mastering or who it's called like. The rest is (of course) outstanding. Basslines, noises, all on their right place!!!

I want. I want I want I want!!!
I can't wait to hear this some time. I was thinking, I wonder what song the Chems are going to drop at midnight? I wonder if it will be an entirely brand new song they are planning on debuting... hmmm... Guess you all will have to wait and hear!
