Wow Most Fungi is like the energy bunny! Thanks for coming back and continuing to share your experience. Great pictures too from both the local photog and organizers. I have to ask though, what's up with the bananas?
I'm not exactly sure! I didn't approach the mountain of bananas. Looking around at some Chinese-language blogs, I found one where someone said everyone was welcome to take a banana after the show. I missed out on my banana.
The TWinkle Rock Festival (Chemical Brothers the first of a number of other acts over the past few days) has a Cucumbanana on their website. If you click "ABOUT CUCUMBANANA" from their main page, you get this:
Maybe just that this is straight up good music, no muss, no fuss?
Except with the cucumber hidden below a banana peel, perhaps these shows hold just a little bit more?
How deep does the rabbit hole go?
How high does the cucumbanana grow?

By the way, an apparent set list from the evening was posted on the site that told me about the free bananas. Taken from there it looks like:
歌單(參考芝山音樂祭場)
Intro: The Beatles - Tomorrow Never Knows
1.Another World
2.Do it Again / Get Yourself High
3.Horse Power
4.Chemical Beats
5.Swoon
6.Star Guitar / Three Little Birdies Down Beats
7.Hey Boy, Hey Girl
8.Don't Think
9.Out of Control
10.Saturate
11.Believe
安可
12.Escape Velocity
13.Superflash
14.Cherub Clown Harmonies
15.Leave Home / Galvanize
16.Block Rockin' Beats
However, the original source for this setlist has it as the rundown for the show in Korea two nights later. No promises that this was exactly how it went, but some of the evidence for it is on the banana-info/setlist site via more pictures and videos (scroll through the Cranberries and other recent show info - I promise it's there).
