I feel I'm responsible as I live in the city where the Avalanches are and should represent. I have met them briefly a couple of times in the past and we know the chems love them too.

FINALLY some new material. they remixed a legendary Australian band called The Hunters and Collectors as part of compilation that band will release.

Come out from the cold and into the setting sun. It's where it all began for me (not in Afrika), like it was out of control. Then after that life was sweet. So dream on into the pioneer skies of the fourteenth century and rise from the sunshine underground.

There is a new album on the way but of course the way they work and nature of sampling rights etc. its taking forever and they are perfectionists. I was going to post in "NOW LISTENING" but fuck it if Nine Inch Nails and Moby can than these guys can.

Theres probably an old thread somewhere about them maybe but I wouldnt know where to begin finding it.

They've also contributed to a Australian Ppay of King Kong with crazy animatronics and puppetering which I've been meaning to see. You can only see it in Melbourne as it was made here and after finishing here they say will go overseas.

Others that contributed are Massive Attack (3D) and Justice.

King Kong

At 2mins in they've done a version of Get Happy in this clip, not sure of any others at this stage.

I've kind've hated musicals with the cheesy over the topness of it all, but will check this out.
