(No, seriously though, HBHG was marginal and Galvanize was painful. The only reason I enjoyed HBHG by these guys was because they brought out the energy already created by the Chems. I guess in the end HBHG was enjoyable, but far from preferrable.)

My son, who caught glimpses of this, was a tad put off.
"Oh my god!! Why are all these girls taking off their shirts for Tom and Ed and their boobs are all hanging out! Hey, you guys haven't been to a Chemical Brothers show where the girls boobs were hanging out and the boys were waving their junk everywhere, have you?"
Bless his little heart. No buddy, of course not. Not our kind of crowd. Being the parent of a child who's almost 9 can have its entertaining moments. X-D

Wow, can't say I dig the crowd at Woodstock. It seemed like the were there for Mardi Gras and not for the show. The Chems themselves, though - Tom seemed really into it which was cool It's so hard to get a feel for the actual response when the filmmaker is fixated on the female anatomy.

Im on my work experience at the minute in a Primary School and Im in with a class of P5's which are about 8/9 year olds, and they're so funny - they were making valentines cards today and one kid said to another kid
''Whos your valentine?'' - ''Not telling you'' - ''You're valentine is your mummy cause your too ugly to get a girlfriend hahaah''
I near bust out in tears laughing, but as the assistant I had to back him up and say, I always send my mummy valentines day cards, the wee shite said the same thing back to me! X-D
The best time of the day is just after lunch time when they come in and tell the teacher who was bad etc, one kid told on another kid for eating with his mouth full at the lunch room. Amazin.

hahaha!! Kids can be such smart asses, can't they? X-D I'm glad my son's not a tattle tale. It might be because he doesn't have siblings to practice tattling on. My son's pretty good but he can get a smart mouth - but that's mainly because he has stash and me as parents, so his humor is kind of sarcastic and non-sequitor which tends to come up in parent/teacher conferences. He pops off with some strange and funny stuff. They're at such a weird age at 8 and 9 - they start to pair off with their respective genders, boys doing their thing, and girls doing theirs - and they totally play up the cootie factor. Even though boys are always interested in girls (or at least their chests, haha) I think the girls are more open to having crushes on the boys than the other way around. I was reading my son's valentine's day cards he got in school and they're so cute. I was giving my son a hard time about this one card he got from a girl named Tamara "Connor you are so so so so nice!" and she drew a heart and scribbled Love inside of it. How cute is that - my son would kill me if he knew what I was babbling on the internet about him.
