Glad to see you're not dead, but rather bound to the shackles of college! Stick around.

It's from the machinima series Freeman's Mind on YouTube. I'm sure your son would love it (granted he's played Half-Life 1; I know it's really old.)

Staying indoors tonight..nose symptoms.
I'm going through tissue like crazy, but the funny thing was that I was perfectly normal 7 hours ago and I was planning to get out of work early.
I'm about to get knocked out pretty soon, so all of you have a great weekend!
And if your afraid to tell someone you love them, tell them before it's too late!

Well, a little over a year ago, I started at this school out here in Emeryville. They primarily teach stdio engineering for music recording, but the 10% that isn't going there for that studies computer animation, motion graphics, and in my case, video game animation and modeling. The further I got into the program, though, the more I was miserable there. I really want to write for video games, and it seemed that doing animating and modeling grunt work would be my ultimate destiny is I graduated from there. So, now I'm currently waiting my start date for an online course in game design that seems to be more catered to my interests. Trying to enjoy the break, but having a hard time smashing writer's block and grabbing some good games to play. Hopefully it'll pass before I dive into this new school.
And that's pretty much the heavily abridged story of where I've been!

Defined a little more formally, "escape velocity" is the initial speed required to go from an initial point in a gravitational potential field to infinity with a residual velocity of zero, with all speeds and velocities measured with respect to the field

Good to hear form you again. I remember you telling me about Expression College .But remember, we all go through some type of boredom phase before we get to the important classes. For me, I had to go 2 years of general ed classes in college before I started getting into my important psychology classes. Then when I got bored with that , I started getting into Visual Communication. And again, I had to take the crappy classes first and then I can start using the MAC's and the latest design software. I think your doing Ok Vorpal, but just hang in there cause it will pay off in the end.
As for the rest of you guys...happy easter

Just figured I'd do my periodic drop-in. Survived an intense week in Cancun, Mexico and gearing up for a few days in Montreal coming up, but in between became pharmacy manager where I work and am reliving a great Fabric night by listening to Escape Velocity. Mint.
