Liz Frasier (from Cocteau Twins)

Lisa Gerrard (from Dead Can Dance, who sang with This Mortal Coil covering the Tim Buckly version of "Song to the Siren")

Just a couple I can think of right now. Both women have amazing voices, and I like it when the Chems have female vocals.

I'd be nice to see them go back and do one with Jonathan Donahue, since he's contributed to greats like TPPR and Dream On.

Or another with Bernard would be nice....

Done a number of threads like this before, but I'll try to come up with some new answers...

Erykah Badu

Kylie (producing and co-writing a song for her though, not a Chems track; maybe her big comeback single...)

Bobby Gillespie and Kevin Shields

Hoobastank ...... well, maybe not

And another hiphop track like NADS or GYH, but I'm not sure who I'd like to guest. Someone underground preferably.

I wouldn't mind hearing a track with Alison Goldfrapp, worked wonders with Orbital, and Goldfrapp's new stuff is pretty good.

And I agree with Thom Yorke (or maybe all of Radiohead in general), that would be mind-blowing! 8O

Definatly Tom Yorke yeah.

There is also a belgium band called " K's Choice" and the lead singer , Sarah Bettens , has , to me , the most amazing voice. I LOVE her voice. That would be nice.

But this are things that seem natural.

It could be nice to have a collab with somebody you'd never expect , like Madonna , my youth - hero X-D That would be funny.

Hmm, I'll have to check out Sarah Bettens, if you say so Jeanie! ;)

You're right about the "natural" choices. It would seem all too natural for the Chems to work with artists that we know of. Not that it's a bad thing, but it might seem obvious perhaps?

What I think is cool about Push The Button is that the Chems got new, virtually unheard of talent to collaborate with on their album. As a result, I dig Block Party and the Magic Numbers are a fantastic and welcome change of pace!

It's very refreshing that they've used new talent. They probably have enough pull to get big tons of names to work with them, not to mention it would be a "safe" option for the to shack up with someone who's established and already has a large fan base. But they've chosen to give new artists some exposure. It can be a risk to take those kinds of chances, but they did it anyway and I have much respect for that.

Maybe they'll try that again and expose us to new bands worth listening to!

I think it would be really interesting to see the brothers produce something for an aritst in a gengre they've never done before... It seems to me they're real quick learners and has something to add in almost every gengre.

I wonder what they'd come up with if they teamed up with Justin Robertson or Andrew Wetherall? The Dust Brothers was a long time ago, I wonder how what they've learnt since then could combine with the old school forces?

I really wouldn't be that interested in a Chems-Radiohead collabo. Just don't think it would work very well, to be honest. Love both groups, but can't picture much in the way of chemistry and I can't picture Thom Yorke's voice sitting right in a Chems mix.

It would have to be something completely different from anything the Chems have done heretofore and the finished product would either disappoint both sets of fans or would be the greatest piece of music ever and cause the universe to implode. Either way I don't think it's a good idea.

(Jeanie, I remember K's Choice from back in the day. They only had one hit song here, but I definetly remember them. You're right, great singer.)

For that matter, no Beck, no Beasties, no Bjork, no Alison Goldfrapp (would be cool, but Orbital already covered that front), maybe Liz Fraser (but Massive Attack already called dibs and are supposedly working on new material with her), no Beth Gibbons, no anyone really obvious, I guess.

I'm sticking with my guns and saying an eight minute extended acid-shoegaze-anti-corporate-manifesto wall of sound featuring Bobby Gillespie and Kevin Shields would induce instant pantal creamification. Think EBW, but bigger, and better. Featuring remixes by Futureshock and Underworld.

Maybe, just maybe M.I.A.
