Do you thin "Tom R." Is Tom Rowlands ? :) I don't think there's a lot of Tom R. who can afford to make a Buchla come from Italy.

My bet's on him too ;)

(for the info, a Buchla like this one can cost between $10000 and $40000)
And Bologna ? Alessandro Cortini, a well known Buchla user is from Bologna. He's collaborated with Nine Inch Nails and Muse, amongst others. Coincidence ?

Yup, I know Cortini. In fact, I posted that vid a couple of times here. It's great, even though it's a bit repetitive. He created his two albums BLUE and RED entirely on the Buchla 200e. I like both albums very much, unique and compelling sounds. But I dunno, as far as I know he lives in the States. Maybe he introduced Tom to Buchla, though?

Edit: Here's some of Cortini's most recent work

Yep, great read ! And it's nice to see what SMD's studio looks like. They got me curious about the Cirklon sequencer. I'm usually a bit relucant about hardware sequencers but I'd be curious to see how the Cirklon works.
