How many version of It Began in Afrika has everyone heard?

Besides the Radio Edit and the Come With Us version, ive heard the "blackout" version and the "heavy breathing" version.

There is that early version (or late) that the chems did play at Ultra a few years back that was on the Biff's rarities mix. I've been listening to the drums on that alot...sound alot like the drums from pioneer skies. but yah...probably booties

Yeah the black out version was very distinct from the chemical four release and the actual come with us release. I cant even remember where i got it. I think back when Audio Galaxy was out, i got it off that. Actually, it might have the chemical four release that was posted on Audio Galaxy. I would LOVE to have that version again. It was lovely.

I also think the early release of chemical four had the full length edit of Galaxy Bounce as well. Much better than the album edit except i do enjoy the transition from IBIA to GB, love the how the temp slows...mmmmmm

I've heard one, back in 2002 i had on a tape, with the words 'Studio Muscle' spoken over it! Prob a DJ tool??

maybe the black out part was from another song and the track was within the context of a dj set. I got a copy off audiogalaxy back in the day too. i remember it was long before come with us came out that i heard it with that sample. the "Drumbeat" Ingram piece sample for it doesn't have the word black-out in it though.

who knows... might've just been one of those things like the Do It Again vocals where at some point for some particular reason something was changed, maybe copywrite or just preference.

Great track though, it was at the time whn Tribal House was at it's peak and this just blew it out thw water!! The drums and percussion on it is so tight! Must have taken a long time to get it right, I mean it really works well live as well, maybe they will bring it back one day!?
