Btw, could you bring back your stage design from the 2002 shows? These huge screens and the illuminated facing of your mixing desk what i could see in your DVD shows were just marvelous!

But things to bring back would be It Began In Afrika (and to a lesser degree Setting Sun and Chemical Beats)..

i like the idea of the ebw 9 sample at the begining....hey boy hey girl-morning lemon too!
also please please, tom/ed if you read this, please dont get rid of the under the influence/it doesnt matter/out of control/temptation-star guitar mixes....it is the most incredible and up lifting bit of tunage ever! its gotta stay!!!
also...any chance of let me in mate being dropped the odd time?!!
on a seperate note....i wonder will tppr remain as the last song?!!! oooh the questions a new album/tour raises!!!!!

It will be interesting to see and hear the changes they plan on making. I can't wait - can't wait to hear what new tunes will drop and the new visuals to go along with it. It'll also be really cool to see changes in the stage design.
Ooo yeah. Bring it on!!!

play what you want boys, BUT i say at least play
MORNING LEMON, i remember some beats and stuff being thrown in for a few sets towards the end of their PTB set (another sign that the chems listen to their fans on this forum)
and
Hold Tight London, was this ever dropped more than 5 times? the only recording i have ever heard is from dublin or summat, and its awful quality but one of my favourite tracks off PTB.

Totally agree, the only thing or things even that I'd add on is, make Under the Influence/It Doesnt Matter alot more Louder, honestly this tune is UNREAL!, Love it and Star Guitar, make it longer and at the start really prolong it then when it kicks in, just full whack volume and and! the keyboard solo has to be the most AMAZING thing ever!! Love it.
Also, play EBW6, I seen this on the Live DVD and it looked totally AMAZING.
As for the set, I'd love to see something kick the ass of all the other act's visuals, get a mad looking desk with wierd visuals, LOTS of lasers, strobes, screens, psychedelic colouring, just MORE so then when Guy Manual and Thomas see ya's they'll retire, due to pure shame 8) X-D :P
Oh I would love to see the kicking mule visual along with EBW6 :D
...thats all :P :-//

Of course it can't all happen, but some of the more ecstatic and some of the more mental tracks. It's all about the dichotomy from bliss to insanity and treading the fine line in between.

I love those guys.
As much as it would be cool to relive a lot of these tracks you all mentioned, the thing is they're going to be out promoting their new album so you know some tunes are going to ommitted or chopped up and worked worked into the set somehow. It's nice to recommend stuff and I'm sure they have their work cut out for them because they want to please their fans - but at the same time it's a Chems gig not a piano bar - I'm sure they're probably figuring out a way to include their latest and greatest with a mix of the oldies and a little bit inbetween. Have faith they will know what's best and do what's right!

There was that Australia live chat thingie with Ed and someone mentioned Morning Lemon and he said they'd left the data back home. Sure enough after they stopped back in England, they picked up Morning Lemon and brought it on the road with them.
NICE! you serious? that's brilliant! how'd it play?

Pretty well, as I recall. Was kinda mixed into Get Yourself High if my brain cells haven't completely abandoned me. It was like a tease of Morning Lemon before the sub-bass of GYH kicked in. If the FTP gets back up soon I'm sure you can find a later-2005 show with it.

there are late 2005 shows on the ftp?
I think so. Certainly late enough that Morning Lemon was in the mix. Look for the Live in London set. I think that was late enough in and was of fantastic sound quality.
I'm listening to the Coachella set at the moment, 'cause I was there and it was amazing.
