October 31st see’s Portsmouth flagship club night Error celebrating its 1st birthday after a year of quality underground music! Since we threw our first event in October 2007, the last 12 months have been, well, pretty darn mental! We hosted some Infamous party’s with some top jock action including; Alan Fitzpatrick, Simon Heartfield, Chris Vaux, Junior Gee, Rich Jones, Craig Rickman, Chris Jones, Lee Martin, Danny P, Dave Stevens, Phil Davidson and Queen of Flange!Errors 1st Birthday is set to be a Halloween Humdinger, where we are joined by and welcome none other than Together and Global Underground resident ANIL CHAWLA!!!!

Having exploded on the scene as a DJ to watch back in 2004, Anil Chawla has since soared through the ranks of the music world to establish himself as one of the UK’s most hotly-tipped electronic DJ/Producers of recent years. Now an internationally established DJ and Global Underground-signed recording artist, 2008 has seen yet more rapid growth to Anil’s already illustrious career, with 2009 set to be his biggest year yet...

In early 2009, Anil releases his debut artist album (co-written & produced with Dale Anderson) through one of the most famous and influential dance music labels of all time – Global Underground. This release is set to catapult Anil yet further onto the world’s musical senses, with a rich and diverse mix of tracks across the electronic spectrum, with early plays on his world travels suggesting he has a real monster on his hands – watch out!

Already firmly established as a high calibre jock via his acclaimed Together/Turnmills residency, 2008 has been a ground breaking year for Anil, with a headline tour of South America for Global Underground, appearances at Snowbombing, Lovebox and South West Four Festival, plus guest slots along side The Chemical Brothers, Fatboy Slim, Carl Cox and Sven Vath, not forgetting recently rocking London’s Ministry of Sound at Sasha’s Involver2 lauch party! We warmly welcome Anil to Errors 1st Birthday!

Joining Anil is local hero and FiLtH bag JUNIOR GEE!! Since playing at the Error Launch party last year Junior and indeed reached new heights! Junior has continued his FiLtH residencies at both Drift and Southampton’s Junk club, support some top talent including Anil Chawla, Lee Moortimer, Jon Gurd and Dave Robertson! Junior has also had more success in the production world under his ‘Purists’ guise with support of his latest remix of Black Ghosts 'Something New' from Mr Pete Tong! Don’t forget we’ve also got Errors finest residents THE CUBISTS and ROGUE STATE on this rather large bill!!! Expect the slickest house, and sickest techno!

Not only have we pulled out all stops line up wise, but we will also be to transforming Drift Bar as we embrace the full horror of Halloween with spooky lighting and décor, ensuring the scariest party in Pompey! Oh, and Fancy Dress wise, well, it’s an anything spooky goes policy!
