Bah, I wasn't trying to question anyone's sexuality here, was trying to make a joke... I'll be sure to think my jokes through from now on since I have a tendency to SAY FIRST, REACT LATER.

And I keep thinking about the old-schoolness of Leave Home and how gangsta I felt during the transition between Leave Home and BRB

SUBLIMINAL MESSAGE FROM THE CHEM BROS.

They finished, the lights went on and "LOVE IS ALL" clouded my mind.

I can't wait to feel that communal loved up goodness again. That whole "love is all" goodness.

Last time I saw the Chems, there was so much love is all after the show - I'd never felt that at any other concert I've gone to.

*sniff sniff*

*sigh*

Oh my god, I love reading you guys just chat about this... I'm still gonna say, my single favorite song... and exspecially in Chicago.. was Burst Generator... omg...? The visuals for that, match the music, and the bass for that song, spins around you! Its the most intense thing...

One other thing about that night... Did anyone see security? lol... They werent happy about people in front jumping REALLY high... namely >ME<

:).. but all is good, I think I lost 2lbs at least.. I didnt move from the floor one time, for two days after, my legs ached sooo bad.. but Its way more than worth it.. I got to stand like 20ft or less from two of the most amazing people on earth... :)

hahaha - Yeha, I had a case of sore legs after the show. I move so much at shows, it's a great work out. 10 years ago it woulda been no sweat - not so much at my age. I was sore! I still don't have my voice back either from all the screaming I did. I think my vocal chords have sustained some damage and I hope it's not permanent.

extreme! lol...

I wasnt much screaming, because I was so damned close to the stage, it woulda been uselessly obscene.. with the sound system being real close by.. lol..

I really ended up watching their hands and bodys create and que up the sounds mostly. The visuals, I didnt care about, since I'd known what to expect for wich songs... I did love the butterflys in.. was it Saturate? ...either way... it was so pretty, I almost got into tears durning Das Spiegel (EDIT:not M.M.C)...

Oh! I loved the strobes for Out Of Control... For some reason, I think a few people in the front pit, didnt expect to be that disorented, and stumbled... lol... I just jumped in my own bubble for hours... :)

Enders, yes - although the visuals are, imo, part of the amazing spectacle and very crucial part of the package, watching what they do on stage is engrossing. It's like trying to see if the magician will reveal some of his secrets. I kind of liken it also to them conducting a symphony of synths, mixers, and what all other doo-dads they have there on stage... Good moments are when Tom starts screaming at his gear haha. MadPooter took a wonderful pic of Tom with this manic look on his face as he's yelling into his gear, complete with large robot looming behind him. Here's a link:

And Ed really busts a move and shakes what his mamma gave him, too. Where's that gif Ben_j posted 2 years ago... Where Tom is animated in the facial expression department, Ed is out there putting his arms up in the air, scanning and communicating with the crowd and watching the response.

This last time I saw them I wasn't as close as I was at the last gig I went to, so my eyes were mainly transfixed on the screen and those eye popping images. They really outdid themselves with the presentation of the visuals this time around. It's always great, but this time it was ever better.

Haha, every link to a pic I get from you Whirly I save in my own stash of images, that is ever growing.

I love what you said about Ed, he does bust out up there on stage, because, why not? Most proforming artists go all out, they have to tend to the tech stuff, so they have little chance, what I think Ed does, is showing how Pro he is at using the tech equipment in the mothership.

I realized how much they love to get involved with the crowd in Chicago, after I saw them both move to the music more than once! :)

Yeah they had some mind blowing visuals this year, but from what I saw of the Nocturnal videos, their set in L.A was massive compared to most of their sets all around the world.

:)

I get goose-bumps seeing the city background with the huge stage in the L.A videos this past year, it's awe-inspiring for sure!

i wouldnt say he gets down like a machine. thats rather insulting, wouldnt you say? ive never seen a machine get down, unless you include daft robots.

they all definitely move to the music a lot more than a few times....its called grooving my friend ;) its what good musicians, who love to do what they do, do.
