I dunno, just because Lampard was marked out of the game doens't change the fact that Hyypia and Traore wouldn't have looked out of place in a Conference squad, there was no support for Crouch's knockdowns, and we were about as wide as Kate Moss.
I'm a big fan of Crouch, by the by, but he's yet to register a shot on goal in the Premiership, and has no goals in 8 games wearing the red shirt. Give him a strike partner, or tell Gerrard not to bother defending, or something.
And who replaced Garcia with a Spanish-looking Zenden out there anyways?

The first booking so shouldn't have been, there was nothing in it. The second, well, the replay clearly shows no/minimal contact between him and the diving Austrian c**t. Beckham must feel completely shafted after that one

rah!! a def improved performance from the engerland, me boy ledley did a stirling job. conumdrums for sven - can he make gerrard do what ledley did ie hold back, tackle, keep it simple?? if so bring him back, if not either lamps or gerrard wll ahve to go - 'snot all about the big players!!
