hmm, i thinkj that whatever u play its good to have an instrument that u can play naturally i think, so that u dont have to think about what your doing and the melodies just flow, be it guitar, synth, kazoo, whatever.

yeah most people think that playing drums is easy..like you just take the sticks and bang them against the drum and you got a beat.no what you got is a noise, an annoying loud noise and when you join these annoying noises in a pattern you got a rythym.nope it doesn't work like that. it takes lot of pateince and focus. my friend videotaped himself playing drums for like half hour and then later showed it to me. it had some very intense jazzy beats one em. i am hooked ever since on anything with fast changing beats.

when i passing my civil service 2 years ago we were supposed to participate in a i call it boot camp for those to get aware of your duties and rights for that service time. And they've got a drum kit there and that was just fun! I used to sit once behind such a thing some years ago but never ever were very familiar with it. But this time i was surprised how well it worked (comparing to my skills) and some nice breaks came out. Ok i'm not phil collins but i'm fucking love playing drums. I was talking to a friend today that if i had the right place for such a drum kit where i don't bother other people with loud noises, i definately would by me one and freaking out with the sticks! But its also a expensive hobby . . .
