IMHO, The Chemical Brothers fit under the category of...The Chemical Brothers.

If there's some eejit I'd be talking to who asked me to clarify that, I'd say they fit under Electronica. That's just my take on it!

Whenever the LFO frequency and delay are maxed out, that's where I live.

...

Funnily enough, that's also the only place where I could fit my name near the LFO controls.

Well, Alesis would argue they due with the Andromeda. It's REAL analogue. And over 2000. You could buy 5 Octave Kittens second-hand for that.

As per sneaker and Whirly re good music bad music.

Music classified by the magazines as big beat will come round again I am a firm beliver that dance music is very cyclical.

Also you can still by what I presume the Big Beat in the style of fatboy/chems of the 90's it is just mostly on vinyl and hidden away in funk/breaks classifcation - it is just a question searching.

Also make your own big beat by scowering the same vinyl shops and mixing up the classic riffs, base lines and rythums.

Whirly, sorry about the lack of response to your post photos are coming and I will try and be more reliable on the old posts.

Take it easy you lot.
