I'm hearing a lot of depth and subtle layering in this song.
Yea it is definitely layered. As with many chemies songs, it takes numerous listens and different moods im in to hear everything that is going on within the song. In swoon, everything rolls off each other so seamlessly, leaving no doubt that that part of the song is meant to be there. One thing that i love about the ability of the chemies is that they don't rely on a drop to be "Phat" to make the song have energy and be so epic. In swoon for example, its not a loud drop or anything but you can't help but dance around and smile
. I love that the first 1/4 of a chemies song compared to the final 1/4 always shows a distinct evolution in the song with everything working together.
Each time i listen the radio edit and the Don Diablo remix, i keep thinking of where the extended version is going to go.
