BTW, could you do something for me? A little thing? Please listen to a recording of "Brixton Intro Track" before you head to the show. I think it would make a great moodsetter (even moreso if it happens to be played that night!).

I noticed that one person has already received their tickets in this topic. Unfortunately I missed out when the tickets went on sale as my internet is useless back at home, so I succumbed to buying from a third party for face value. Now, my tickets came today (which is great and all that) but I've contacted the seller today to ask whether I could see their reference tracker thingy page through 'gigs and tours' to check whether they're legit, but I've not received a reply yet.
I know it's only been a day but I'm sure you can all understand how much I'm panicking already.
Just wondered whether anyone else has received their tickets yet as it seemed a bit soon to be getting mine through a third party...
Thankyouuu
Edit:
joy, they've responded saying 'i don't have the reference number anymore'
this is going to be pleasant

some tips on checking tickets: check the hologram. very hard to get right for forgers!
rub your finger quite hard on the "ink". tickets are printed using thermal printing, if the "ink" smudges it means someone got ticket stock and printed on them with a regular printer, rather than special thermal printer.
carefully bend the ticket stub at the perforation, make sure not to do it too hard so it breaks free, you should hear a crisp "crunch" if you know what i mean, it should be nice and stiff, along with the rest of the ticket. if it feels flimsy or light, you may have a dud.
if you are in doubt, bring it to a ticketmaster outlet, or the roundhouse box office if they are printed on their ticket stock. they will check it no problem at all. its not illegal to buy tickets from a tout, and they should be happy to put your mind at rest, ive done it a couple of times with ticketmaster. ,
hope this helps!
Defined a little more formally, "escape velocity" is the initial speed required to go from an initial point in a gravitational potential field to infinity with a residual velocity of zero, with all speeds and velocities measured with respect to the field

I'm not sure about any Thursday night clubbing in Camden but if you check these links closer to the time you should be able to find something to your liking nearby at the very least:
- Thursday Clubs in London on LondonNet
- Listings for London on Thursdays | Mixmag

I got some tickets direct from Gigs and Tours whilst a friend got some via eBay sellers with decent feedback and all appear to be the identical, even tho some were won via an auction at below cost price!

The hologram is just shiny with the 'ou' of the roundhouse inside in red text. Is it supposed to be different from an alternate angle or do they seem genuine? The person I bought through has a pretty respectable feedback history so I'm hoping they're fine.
I've contacted seetickets to ask if there is a way of locating a name to the tickets I have as I live quite a way from London, in Plymouth, so it's quite a journey only to be disappointed.
Thanks again for your advice, I'm grateful.

I'm afraid there's no option for me, pity. I think I would need to find something here in Kiev and take it with me to the plane. So guys, if you don't see me at Roundhouse or this forum - that means only one thing: I'm a bit busy.

they sound fine to me to be honest. they wont give you out the info of the person who bought the tickets but will tell you if the ticket number, under the barcode is legit. which will pretty much tell you your all right
