I'd assume getting a place to stay/getting there at all, but I'll let him speak for himself. Nice display of dedication gr_af! I hope you find someone who's going to help you out. :)

Hey bros, i just want to make myself comfortable, relax and ready. Ready for the show. Anyone understand? I'm coming from Kiev and don't no anyone to talk with about this... By the way, what are the options to come after Chemy show? Any good clubs working on thursday, 20th may?

Could anyone help this poor guy out? He seems to be a good fan and a great addition to whatever group you guys are forming.
BTW, could you do something for me? A little thing? Please listen to a recording of "Brixton Intro Track" before you head to the show. I think it would make a great moodsetter (even moreso if it happens to be played that night!).

Ahoy people, thankyou for accepting me into your brotherhood.

I noticed that one person has already received their tickets in this topic. Unfortunately I missed out when the tickets went on sale as my internet is useless back at home, so I succumbed to buying from a third party for face value. Now, my tickets came today (which is great and all that) but I've contacted the seller today to ask whether I could see their reference tracker thingy page through 'gigs and tours' to check whether they're legit, but I've not received a reply yet.
I know it's only been a day but I'm sure you can all understand how much I'm panicking already.
Just wondered whether anyone else has received their tickets yet as it seemed a bit soon to be getting mine through a third party...
Thankyouuu

Edit:
joy, they've responded saying 'i don't have the reference number anymore'
this is going to be pleasant

i got 3 tickets from the same seller on ebay "farmergiles" was his user name. he was 100% legit, even though he is an online tout and has tickets for everything for sale! i checked the roundhouse printed tickets against the ones i got from the roundhouse and they are legit, and the ones from ticketmaster are also legit.

some tips on checking tickets: check the hologram. very hard to get right for forgers!

rub your finger quite hard on the "ink". tickets are printed using thermal printing, if the "ink" smudges it means someone got ticket stock and printed on them with a regular printer, rather than special thermal printer.

carefully bend the ticket stub at the perforation, make sure not to do it too hard so it breaks free, you should hear a crisp "crunch" if you know what i mean, it should be nice and stiff, along with the rest of the ticket. if it feels flimsy or light, you may have a dud.

if you are in doubt, bring it to a ticketmaster outlet, or the roundhouse box office if they are printed on their ticket stock. they will check it no problem at all. its not illegal to buy tickets from a tout, and they should be happy to put your mind at rest, ive done it a couple of times with ticketmaster. ,

hope this helps!

Defined a little more formally, "escape velocity" is the initial speed required to go from an initial point in a gravitational potential field to infinity with a residual velocity of zero, with all speeds and velocities measured with respect to the field

I'm not sure about any Thursday night clubbing in Camden but if you check these links closer to the time you should be able to find something to your liking nearby at the very least:

I got some tickets direct from Gigs and Tours whilst a friend got some via eBay sellers with decent feedback and all appear to be the identical, even tho some were won via an auction at below cost price!

Thanks for your responses guys. I checked and the ink doesn't appear to smudge in any way, and the perforation seems pretty crisp.
The hologram is just shiny with the 'ou' of the roundhouse inside in red text. Is it supposed to be different from an alternate angle or do they seem genuine? The person I bought through has a pretty respectable feedback history so I'm hoping they're fine.
I've contacted seetickets to ask if there is a way of locating a name to the tickets I have as I live quite a way from London, in Plymouth, so it's quite a journey only to be disappointed.
Thanks again for your advice, I'm grateful.

Thanks a lot! Hope to find something good thereafter, depends how confident I feel.

I'm afraid there's no option for me, pity. I think I would need to find something here in Kiev and take it with me to the plane. So guys, if you don't see me at Roundhouse or this forum - that means only one thing: I'm a bit busy.

they sound fine to me to be honest. they wont give you out the info of the person who bought the tickets but will tell you if the ticket number, under the barcode is legit. which will pretty much tell you your all right

Anyone know if they're playing old tracks or just new stuff from Further?

My hope is that it's a regular show preceded by a screening of the "Further" movie. I could be wrong, though.

Had heard/read somewhere that they may only be playing songs from Further, but am hoping I am wrong.

That would also mean that they're not playing for a very long time? How long are their gigs usually? One hour? Less...? That Friday gig is my excuse for coming to London for a week all the way from Finland so I really hope it'll be worth it.
