Due to circumstances beyond our control, it is with great regret that The Chemical Brothers have been forced to cancel their forthcoming shows in Brazil.

We apologise to all our fans for the disappointment and we will endeavour to bring our show to Brazil at the earliest opportunity.

I have to say something to clear up some assumptions... as there are a lot of user comments on the Chems Facebook announcement blasting this as a visa and management problem. I wasn't given specific details but simply put, the cancellations are because there were venue issues, NOT because of poor management or visa problems.
This is such a bummer and I feel real bad for the Brazilians. I really hope the Chems can reschedule.

I'm so sad whenever there's a show that's canceled. 
I would be heartbroken if a show I was planning on going to was canceled...
In the past The Chems have been great at making good on their endeavors to reschedule whenever there's been a cancellation, so here's hoping !!
