Its been about 6 months after the release of "Push the Button." I think its a fair enough amount of time after numerous listens, to make my opinion, that its the chemical brothers 2nd best album :) of course "Come With Us" is number 1....but again thats my opinion :P

My opinion is that its probably their best OVERALL album. I like every song on it. Their other albums have those mind blowingly awsome songs, but have always had a few songs that never clicked just right. The best example is probably DYOH, where BRB, GUOILT, TPPR, and SS were amazing, while the rest didn't come even close except for where do I begin.

You know, I really can't say which is my actual favorite. After I figured out that CWU and EPD were way better than I thought originally, I've been quite confused. :-?

So far, Push The Button is shaping up to be *the* summer album for me.

Then again, in the world according to me, it's been *the* album since January! ;)

I love it so much, I really do. By now I've got loads of awesome memories attached to Push The Button so it's acquired a sort of nostalgia over the months - and I'm looking foward to more memories being attached to it. I'm inclined to say as of right now Push The Button is pretty much my favorite out of the Chemical bunch.

Oh man, a live dvd that showcases this tour would be fantastic!! My Singles dvd is tried and true having watched it soooooo many times, and I can't help but sound greedy but a live dvd would be such a nice compliment to anybody's Chemical Brothers collection. A nice way to pacify us diehards inbetween studio album releases. 8)

But with the Singles dvd having come out in 2003, we might have to wait a little longer before we see something like a full on Chems live dvd. That's just my hunch, but for them to put out something like that would be a time consuming endeavor. You know, it sounds like they are on a music making roll here and eager to get crackin on new material already (plus they're still on the road) and shifting the focus to a live dvd might take away their time from the studio.

So I'll wait patiently. Whenever that time for a live dvd comes, I know it'll be great!

Anybody else NOT feeling the song Galvanize? Q-Tips verses are fine, but the chorus is corny as hell, and after two minutes the song just falls apart for me. The whole breakdown with the beritone "Push The Button" and "my finger is on the button"- egh.

Other than that, all good.

I actually like the single version because it's only 4 minutes or so long, which isn't a good thing to say usually about a chems song, but the album version is a little excessive for what it has.

Favorite part of song: part after the breakdowns.

Could not agree more, the part where it speed ups feels a little bit boring...

I don't know, I like Galvanize. It's different, it's slower that the other Chems album openers but still keeps the energy really well. It's not so good live, I'm not sure why. It's not bad, just doesn't seem to work live that well. The should have played Setting Sun instead! :P
