I think that the test is by far the best track made by the chemical brothers, or anyone, for that matter since the private psychedelic reel. although i hate it when people say its only good because of ashcrofts vocals. yes the vocals are terrific but its the mystical epic feel in the last three minutes when the verses and chorus stop that really makes the test such a work of art.

I was listening to it on my headphones and it was amazing. Even better than TPPPR, i must say .There are so many hidden sounds in the track that it makes it all so cool and psychadelic. I totally love the Test and it is my fav. song.

I'm not, and never have been, a real big fan of The Test. It really just doesn't do anything for me. For some reason, and I don't know why, I get the feeling from the song that Ashcroft is full of himself. I really don't see how the track matures over the time it's played.

It's an alright track by my standards, but nothing to be praised or glorified.

Is that the track where they list loads of place names from northern England, or am I thinking of something else..? :?

The Test for isn't that spectacular, But it's not the worst track i've heard. It is pretty catchy and i love the way it ends with those wicked soun effects. I do think TPPR is slighty better build and sounds more balanced than The Test.

Oh man you're so right!!!! The Test is the best track the chemical brothers have ever made. Every time I listen to the song I come in mood. It has such a great atmosphere: the beginning, the main part and the end, wow!!! The rockin' beats and the wonderful voice of The Verve frontman R. Ashcroft always makes me feel all right ... That's almost the same with TPPR, my second favorite just after The Test.

Well I have to excuse my bad English, 'cause I'm from Germany

I think given by Csar's description of The Test, he was rather moved by it! :)

And so was I. When I listen to it now, sometimes it still catches me a little off guard and I get chills, it's epic! I love it when a song has that kind of effect on me...

Like i siad in another thread , i think The Test is one of the best chemical songs. It makes me feel like i can fly , it gives me power and energy , maybe it sounds kinda weird......whehe. But that song just gives me so much emotions and i have really good memory's with that song.

-Sorry for my english people-
