yeah i saw them on headphones and did wonder if hoy had been introduced to the brothers by them doing velodrome. that would be cool. it'd be cool if he was already a fan as well.

some of the clips at the bottom of that link are excellent. the boris johnson one was brilliant

So I have been watching Olympics on my tablet using FilmOn which has been great! Especially while I work, I can keep an ear what is going on and glance over to see the competitions which have been amazing. I am no longer missing out which is great! But the kicker is I don't have BBC so I'm stuck with the insipid commentary and bias of NBC which is the US network airing the games.

I just tuned in a few moments ago to watch thinking there might be something interesting about the games, perhaps a few words with the athletes, etc. What are they talking about on NBC? The criticism over Gabby Douglas' hair. Now, here is a young girl (my fave on the women's US Olympic gymnastics team ths round) who is humble and gracious, and an incredible athlete - and NBC has nothing better to do than talk about her hair. That is some quality reporting right in the heart of Olympic Village, talking about criticism of Gabby's hair in the Twittersphere, complete with brief snippet interviews with some bored bitch at a hair salon talking smack on Gabby's noggin. FFS, NBC. Really??
be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle

Nothing wrong, and nothing even special, I don't get the point... I've seen athletes with way stranger hair, just look at Teddy Riner above !

The Womens Triathlon was insane! It all went down to the wire with a photo finish! Probably the best moment I've seen in this olympics!

Not sure if you saw the game bosco, but we humiliated Nigeria 156-73! We knocked down 29 3-pointers!

Yeah, Men's basketball has been absolutely dominating, until the other day against LIthuania. This was nearly embarrassing. Everyone was fawning over LeBron's fantastic offense output in the 4th. But I couldn't help but notice his shoddy defense throughout the second half.

I just watched a montage on NBC that included Ryan Seacrest and background music "Rez" by Underworld during the prime time segment of the Olympics. I'm not sure how to comprehend this. For you Euro's, you might think this is nothing. But for us Americans, this is a mighty feat for a culture suffocated by pop music. But yet, this shinning moment is tainted by that walking, talking, pile of human feces.

Great job Britain! Was a great olympics. Too bad that emerald hill thing didn't make another appearance during the closing ceremony, I thought that was a really cool touch during the opener. Excellent choice of music on both ends (with the exception of the various pop acts thrown in during the closer.) I can't tell you how jealous I am that Great Britain is responsible for so many fantastic musicians.

It was the closing ceremony, did you really think he was going to be doing a three-hour set of forgotten 90's classics? Besides it wasn't that hard to tell his compulsive knob-twiddling wasn't having an effect on the music, even without looking at a technical diagram.

Yeah the miming wasn't ideal but it must be difficult doing something on that big of a scale and making it sound good. Noel Galagher refused to perform because he didn't want to "pretend".

I liked London Velodrome track however, it wasn't good as much as chems albums tracks.. but whatever.. When I've listened to it for a third or fourth time - I liked it somehow.. It meaned to me so much, because Lithuanian Simona Krupeckaite couldn't reach a prize there.. But still I was proud of her. And the chems track for velodrome. Big ups!
