Ok so would be your ideal support band at a Chems show. Imagine your going to the Brixton gig in Dec and Tom and Ed have ask you to arrange a support band between 9 and 10, who would you choose? It has to be someone realistic and not a band who is allready quite big. You cannot pick a dj, it has to be a live band. I was thinking of either......

The Infadels -at glasto after seeing them I think there a band to watch out for. Were they any good supporting at Manchester gig?

The Loose Cannons -still a low key band, but nice live.

Audio Bullys -there going massive, wont be long until there playing big shows.

Diry Vegas -nice chilled stuff.

Grandadbob -I really like the album.

The Infadles would prob be my first choice but still any of those would be good.

Awesome at Manchester mate. Would be my first choice as well - very lively performance.

CLOR!!!

CLOR CLOR CLOR FUCKING CLOR!!!

and for ACID's suggestions

I agree with all except Audio Bullys, i was disgusted with their performance at Homelands, not together at all and lacked energy... plus they played Shot You Down twice, which is the most awful version of an already well remixed and decent original...

Grandadbob though, thums up, they have shit loads of energy and with the new album which they told me is going to be alot different, they would make a great support.

Still, Clor are the 'shiznit' or whatever it is. I erge everyone on here to get the album, came out on monday, best debut album ever, full stop. anyway, enough ranting... my work here is done.

I like there tunes and I have a wicked mix cd by them. Saw them at homelands 2003 and they were average, Last year when they supported jaxx the set was really pumping and got the crowd into a frenzy, but there is a lack of visuals and they have a crap stage presence.

Glad you agree marsh, at Glasto I was very very impressed by them.

Maybe someone like Roni Size would be good or Low Fidelity Allstars, as there styles are very different and stand out.

what about Kieth Flints band Clever Fryin Brains, saw them at Global and there music was ok but it was very entertaining watching him. Or Roots Manuva?

I really hope the next Brixton shows support is dance music of some sort, as i didnt really dig secret marchines much. A hip hop band would be cool.

Yeah Magic Numbers would be excellent. New Order would be cool, but wouldnt it be more likey that Ed and Tom would support New Order?

Bloc Party would be good aswell, but i couldnt imagine it happening seeing as they have got quite big now. Kasabian would also be cool.

Are Lo-Fidelity Allstars still around? i know they released their abstract funk theory compilation a few years back but ive not heard anything about them since. Tied to the Mast is a fantastic track, some other stuff might be abit slow for a support though.

When I saw Orbital at Brixton last year, Bent were supporting, I was impressed by them. It was an excellent 'calm before the storm' bit.
