Hey 'stash and everybody, what do you think of this? People at Kuro5hin were talking about oil digging reaching it's peak level. I have no idea if this is true or not, but it's extremely plausible:

I thought that bush&co wanted to invade Iraq for oil and it's economical values but nowadays I'm thinking that the most probable cause for invasion was simply to control the whole region. Once they get favorable leaders in one nation they can influence all the decisions made in the nearby nations too. They get the whole package, "freedoms" for the people included.

I've got some points about the problem with Iraq and why solving it with war is wrong. Basically it boils down to the idea (and my opinion) that war is never ever an option to use. And it really is hard to say what should have been done about Iraq. I might throw the points here someday if I have the energy.

Because the reasons they told us we went to war in Iraq are complete bullshit. And it's not up to you or me to decide if 15,000 innocent bystanders are worth it, those bystanders should have had a say in the matter.

yep......

Where is the Republican outrage when it comes to the Iraqi's "right to life"? How is one lady in a vegetable like state(schiavo in florida)more imprtant to 100,000 Iraqis who were living normal lives. One vegetable gets her life support cut off and the Bush and the Rupbs have a fit. Tens of thousands of innocent Iraqis are killed from US fired weapons and they have no problem. It is all bullshit.

About this memo. It doesn't really tell us anything new...it only confirms old information. I knew the whole WMD thing was bullshit.

You know.....I was called all sorts of names and branded a traitor for speaking out about it. I did my research and it was obvious, back in 2003 that we were not going to find the stockpiles of WMD that Bush said we were. I debated this subject online just about everyday for a good two years. It amazes me that some of the same people I debated against still believe BushCo(only because they feel they have to chose sides like this is all some sort of team sport) and it also amazes me just how uninformed the general public really is. Every fucking body knows about the "Runaway Bride" in the states, but hardly anybody I know is aware of said memo or the reason it is so important. Bush lied and some of us called him out. Now it is time for the others to finally fucking listen. :P }:-@

ps- for those of you who might want to learn a litle bit more about the WMD claims and the big pile of shit that it is/was. I suggest that you check out this DVD:

It was made just a few months after the war began in 2003. It goes over all the bullshit claims and shows how the Bush administration played us all. As I said, it was made just a few months after the war started. Here it is, over two years later and the mainstream media is just now starting(barley) to pick up on some of the WMD bullshit. Some of the general public is just now gettting this information. ...shame Anyways, check out the DVD.

I absolutely hate the truth of this.

Front page story on USA Today: "White, middle-class GI stubs toe; Al-Qaeda responsible?"

Page D12, one column byline in bottom left corner: "1,500 Iraqi civilians dead as hospital bombed by convict-turned-pilot."
