Woke up to a text this morning from my best mate regarding this "Words can not describe how mega my time in Space was. Chem's were on for 3 amazing hours and the whole dancefloor sat down at the end of their set to honour how mega they are. It was truly breath taking". I bet that was a great moment for tom and ed.

They've definitely put that ghost to rest, in the only way the Brothers can. Sounds amazing!

Perhaps we should start doing that after there sets. Would be nice to see some footage!

Just back in from Ibiza. The whole floor also sat down halfway through the set during a track with a big build up, everyone jumped up as it kicked off. There is some footage on www.welove-music.com on the We Love TV page.Also some small bits with Tom & Ed (Tom seems to me to come across quite strong at one point that it's nothing too fancy-just playing records when talking about DJing- see what you think. The guy asking the questions was probably been a knobhead) I was just to left of and under that platform where it is filmed from. Higher up than rest of the dancefloor it was a perfect spot as there was only room for me. I had the full club in view and when the guy filming wasn't in the way could see the boys at the desk.(Enjoyed seeing Tom do some air guitar a one point whilst Ed was at the helm). I clung on to it for nearly two hours even before they came on(0100) No-way was I losing it-what a piss I had when they finished(Beatles then EBW7)! My eyes are shutting as Im typing as did Cocoon on Mon,Bora Bora last night, best get me head down, let you know what tracks, etc i can remember later.PS Jay-C I cant believe you let your best mate down by not going with him- shocking! take him for beer if he makes it back!

That story about them and Ibiza 14 years ago is tragic. Having to leave the decks for safety sake because people weren't agreeing with the tunes they were playing is just ridiculous. Let this serve a lesson for anyone who takes the decks at 9 in the morning, playing to over the edge X heads. Thank goodness they (Tom and Ed) didnt take that gig too seriously, or all of us would be in a less interesting world, to say the least.

Glad the 2nd time round worked well. I wonder what T and E thought about the "sit and jump".

Oh man, thanks Chris for taking the time to post your experience at Space. I'm trying so hard to watch the footage but I think a lot of people must be trying to access the site right now, because it's all choppy. I WILL definitely check back.

I did catch the bit about Tom and Ed playing at Space the last time. I'd read in an interview a few years ago that it was a scene, people were crying - it's weird to hear something like that confirmed, seeing and hearing it come out of their mouths. Playing trip hop in the morning, and Barry White - but ah well, that's all in the past!! This time they rocked Space good and hard and literally left people floored. That freaks me out. A much better scene, for sure. Thanks again for stopping by Chris. :)

I have a real stupid question about the Space venue so try not to laugh too hard. I'm curious - Is it the same one that was in the film Kevin & Perry Go Large?

hopefully they will find more time for ibiza in the future, always wanted to see them dj out there. i'm sure back in 2001 they djed at the coastline bar in san an. a venue where they could play the beleric vibe!

cant blame the chems for not understanding space first time round. i've been there a few times and never got my head round that club, day time clubbing is just weird. since they had to box the terrace in, its changed to whole vibe of the club for me.

as for kevin and perry, that was all filmed amnesia. i was actually there at bugged out one of the nights they fimed at back in 99. im actually in the end credits if you squint enough at the screen!
