Oh yes, the new Official Galvanize Drink Recipe now states that it MUST contain the $3.99 a bottle Dutch Melon Liquer, and NOT the $30 a bottle Midori.
Kids, we STILL have the bottle from that night, there's a candle in it right now, and we got another bottle, (still on sale tim) for tonight.
PEACE!

bwah! If there's more of that $4 booze, send it my way?
Rolling a bit right now, post-club, post-chill, time to go to bed, sort of way. Awesome night out, dozens of close friends from school and work all congregated in a single place and sanctified by pills and booze.
I feel really good right now. Wish I still had someone here with me to share it with. :)
(Also, found out tonight about a 2-day underground rural rave end of July. Wicked. :) )

Awwwwwwwwwww......... Jeanie! *big hug*
I've had more than my share of days like that. It'll be good.
I was in a fantastic mood earlier, but after spending a few hours with the 'rents and going out for a drive and a bite to eat, I'm a little sleepy right now and could do with a nap. Don't think I have time though. Soccer, girlfriend, and a concert beckon, if the weather holds up.

Not actually all that buzzed, but I've got a few beers in me, so we'll post it in this thread.
Went to a free outdoor concert tonight down at Old Market Square across from my favourite pub. Some fine, fine funk on display. Grabbed some Indian food and an energy drink to kick off the night before hitting the Heineken (only beer available due to sponsorship )
God Made Me Funky rocked the house with inspired covers of 'Jump Around', 'No Diggity', and a wicked mashup of 'Rapture' and 'The Message', as well as original material and they featured a very obese black MC wearing a cape and a hat with horns on it. Gold.
One of my favourite bands, the Moses Mayes Collective (a funk band + DJ + vocalist collective) capped off the night with some absolutely storming tracks that got the 1000+ people moving.
A couple pints in the King's Head with some South Americans followed, before calling it a night.
Although I was very tempted by the offer of free, decent quality tequila, I elected to get some sleep instead. Sometimes discretion truly is the best form of valour. :)
Wish I'd brought my camera tonight, was a great night out.

And I've got the day off tomorrow and two rather strong pills in my pocket left over from last night and I'm reasonably tempted to spend tomorrow afternoon tripping balls and rolling hard... Probably won't, but the idea is nice...
It's almost time to buy a new bottle of 5-HTP. X-D
Also, just found out about a cool-sounding rave at the end of July: 2 nights, in a barn outside of town, 16 DJs, pancake breakfast, $10. I eagerly await. :)

A rave with a pancake breakfast, you gotta go man!!
There used to be Goan trace raves here a long time ago before I got started with the whole rave thing. It was rave all night capped with Indian food at the end (because Indian food the day after being out all night is sooo good). I wish I could've taken part in some of that.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I'll go, and it sounds like I've already got a decent size crew recruited to go along with me. My girlfriend's response: "You're going to die!" X-D "No, I'm not!" "You're going to die!" hehehe
She's cool with it, though. Maybe I'll be able to convince her to come too.

I'm back from a party with all the best DJs of Institubes. It was fucking great ! We had DJ Orgasmic, who mixes crappy US hip hop with overpitched good electro tracks. I went nuts when he played "Out of Space". And there was Para One live. This guy will really become famous, I'm telling you...
The negative points : there was a bunch of pricks dancing but bumping me with their heads and bends. One even touched my hand with his lit ciggy... And guess what ? He is one of the maxi-gay from the FrenchTouch Forum (Daft Punk fans)
