We're keeping it on the downlow now, don't worry. They're taking it serious and they've been ridiculously grateful that I've been one of the few true friends who've been there for the whole thing so far. They need good friends to give them good advice.

There's plenty of shit here to keep the cops busy (harrassing natives, pretending to do something about weapons in clubs, DUI outrage, looking for bigger fish to fry, etc.) but we know we need to be quiet anyways. Business is closed down, which sucks, but I study there for school and we help each other. Friends are friends. Just need to be smart and careful and abstain a bit.

It's looking good for no time served for them. We're hopeful of clear record so they can stay in school. At least one of them will graduate before the case is finished.

I am smart enough not to move into the spare room there now that our buddy moved out this week. Even though I have been invited to move in.

On an unrelated (and non-buzzed) note, I was involved in a car chase today on the way home from work after some asshole nearly sideswiped me twice and I honked at him and flipped him off. Tailed me for about ten minutes, swevering in and out of traffic, tried to set a lure for me, but I eventually ditched his ass. No one knows the streets like me.
