Dude... just go ahead and use it...
Unless it's some big screen movie production I honestly doubt that you'll have to get permission from the brothers just to use it in your little school project, or whatever this is.

How about we do it a little different this time, especially since inchemwetrust gave you the real deal early on?
You describe the setting and motivation of when you'd like to play Surrender. The rest of us will vote and tell you if the scene is worthy of the track. You can be as specific or ambiguous as you like. Be aware, Ed recently called us a tough audience. Go ahead, sell it.
