Just don't put all that music in 1 box by calling it electroclash. Some acts die because of that (Fisherspooner). It is just good (and live damn good) music. I like it very much. but h I'm a 80's kid. Maybe that helps :)

I think this: http://www.rathergood.com/gaybar/ is the only good 'Electroclash' song.
i don't even think electric 6 is "electroclash"

I'm afraid I do not make a very good music critic. My main problem is that I hate 99.9% of all the music that's made. It's very, very rare that I hear anything I like.
It's like Coachella... here's the line up:
Coldplay
Bauhaus
Weezer
The Chemical Brothers
Wilco
Keane
Snow Patrol
Rilo Kiley
Cafe Tacuba
Sage Francis
The Raveonettes
Bloc Party
Mercury Rev
Fantomas
Hernan Cattaneo
Spoon
Zap Mama
Dj Peretz
Jamie Cullum
M83
Ambulance LTD
Four Tet
MF Doom
Josh Wink
Amp Fiddler
Tiga
The Kills
UNKLE - James Lavelle
The Secret Machines
Boom Bip
Stereophonics
Swayzak
Dj Marky
Immortal Technique
Jean Grae
Razorlight
Katie Melua
Radio 4
Buck 65
Nic Armstrong And The Thieves
Gratitude
Eisley
The Sexy Magazines
k-os
Out of all of those acts, there's only 2 I have any interest at all in seeing.
The rest, I wouldn't even bother crossing the street for a free show.

I really hate the term electroclash, it just puts everything in a sealed box. Chuck the label I say.
Fischerspooner - well, it was a promo so what the hey. Can't say I'm thrilled with it but it was free so no skin off my back.

hmm... maybe that's the problem, I remember the 80s all too clearly, and hated 90% of all the music back then.
Only good thing to come out of the 80s (IMO) were the precursors to modern electronica.
Bwah!!! X-D Except for Weird Al Yankovich and that pure shit your mother used to make you listen to on those long drives to visit the relatives.

I had only really heard of them by name till last summer when I went to see them at Benicassim, none of my friend were interested so I walk over to the stage by my self, waited for them to come on, which in the end they were about 30 mins late if I remember right and then went they got on stage the sound quality was not very good so I left after a few songs, after that I had a bad impression about them, but I have heard their album now I think they are alright nothing really to write home about though.

I'd be VERY interested in seeing Chems, M83, UNKLE, Mercury Rev, Tiga & Four Tet. Those are the only artists from the list that I really like
Want to hear a nightmare?
Only two acts I want to see off that whole list... AND THE FUCKERS SCHEDULED THEM TO OVERLAP!!
I'll have to miss at least half of the Bloc Party set so I can go and muscle my way to the front of the stage for the chems.

No, I'm not kidding. Seriously, bands have to be really, really really good for me to listen to them. I mean, insanely good. Like Tom & Ed good.
what's so odd about having very particular taste in music? At least I'm not a genre whore, who ONLY listens to IDM, or pre-90s industrial, or, god forbid, only Light Jazz. I like a lot of different genres, but only certain acts, and even then, sometimes only certain albums by certain acts, speak to me.
I'll probably see Mercury Rev, cuz of Surrender.
