I've been listening to this song a lot, while driving solo.



It's a fantastic tune no doubt, and I've come to the conclusion that Close Your Eyes, composition wise, is perhaps one of the Chems' most complex ballads to date. The whole structure of this song is very intricate and textured, and the lyrics alone are complicated in the sense that they can have both happy or melancholic meaning - very much depends on the mood of the listener. At least that's what I get from it anyway.

For the first few days i listened to the album i thought it was the best rack, i still think it is oneof the best on the album and even from any album

After I got the album, I went through a whole stetch where I'd wake up with this song in my head. It was the weirdest thing.



Sometimes I still do wake up with this song in my head!



I'm pretty stuck on Close Your Eyes and Hold Tight London lately... the current faves off Push The Button. One of the things I like so much about Chems albums is that there's enough variety on one album or all their records to fit any mood/situation - it's hard to call a favorite because depending, it can be any song! I love that...

hold tight london and close your eyes both are my 2nd favourite tracks off PTB, behind both first marvo ging and believe. both of them were my faves from the first listen to PTB on and still are while HTL and CYE are growing and growing. even left right grows on me

I really dont know wich one my fave is. I have a favorite every day haha. But i think the big winner will be Surface to Air.
