I hope you dig it, prochem. It's well worth a shot in the kitchen and invite some friends over too so they can help you eat the boat load of stew you'll be making. I've sworn off red meat for nearly 16 years now, and that's the only dish that actually makes me crave it.

it was pretty nasty down here in blm, il. I got off work at 6am on Friday... and went home and went to bed... it was actually somewhat nice outside. Woke up at 1pm and it was like a solid sheet of ice on the road, my car, and basically everything. got quite a bit of freezing rain.
not the best of conditions if the roads are busy, but definately fun driving when no one else is around.

Down here in Sunny Somerset, it's not been to bad! It's been raining like a bugger the last few days, just hope it soesn't tip down next friday at the Birmingham Gig!
And yes, i like the idea of soup in the winter, I have Ainsley Harriet's Cuppa soup as my mid morning snack (Hug in a mug) ahhhh...
Oh and I like the look of the stew, im no Gordon Ramsay but I shall give it a whirl and try and impress the girlfriend!! ;-)
